I can't help myself. When FX announces a project my interest is piqued. They almost never steer me wrong. And now that they've proven they can do comedy well (It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia is hilarious and even Testees wasn't bad), I'm even more open to their ideas. Couple that with my love for animation and Adult Swim and you seem to have Archer, which FX has picked up for six episodes. Likely to be paired with It's Always Sunny at some point this year, Archer takes place at an international spy agency where your biggest threat may be the other agents.
The voice cast includes such comedic powerhouses as Jessica Walter, Chris Parnell, Aisha Tyler and Judy Greer. Veteran voice actor Jon Benjamin has the lead voice. Apparently the pilot came in even stronger than the folks at FX expected. They're telling me that if I like It's Always Sunny, then I'll love Archer. Them's strong words, FX. Strong words indeed. Sunny is one of the consistently funniest half hours on television. I'll tune in to see if it's as funny as you say, but honestly, do networks ever admit when their shows are crap?

You neglected to mention that it was created by Adam Reed who previously collaborated on SeaLab and Frisky Dingo.

This show has nothing to do with Sunny. Why compare them?
What's up with Boldly Going Nowhere?
