Australian driving safety commercial is brutal but effective
Most "don't drink and drive" ads show the driver getting into his car sloshed (or "buzzed") and then ending up in some horrible accident that either kills himself or a passenger. This commercial from Australia shows the driver realizing that he's too buzzed, but it doesn't matter. I want to see a sequel to this ad. In under a minute this ad makes me want to know more about this couple and the people at that party. (Warning: ad is depressing.)

Whoa! That's more like it. The USA needs to step it up a notch. Our TV shows are more brutal than public service ads- I wonder why?

How did drugs play any part in a hit and run accident?

Its not hit and run, the driver that hit him is clearly seen running towards the victim.

The ads they air in Queensland, Australia are so crap. Good to see that the state of Victoria airs ads that might actually be effective.
