Napoleon Dynamite lead Jon Heder will star in a new Comedy Central sitcom written and produced via Will Ferrell's Gary Sanchez Productions.Heder exploded onto the entertainment scene when Dynamite made more than $40 million on the indie movie circuit after costing less than a million to produce. He went on to star opposite Ferrell in the less funny figure skating movie, Blades of Glory. Now Ferrell will shepherd Heder's first TV venture.
The show doesn't have a title yet, but it reportedly feature Heder as "an out-of-work IT specialist who leaves the city and returns to his small hometown to live with his parents and younger brother."
In case you missed it, that's suspiciously close to the plot of East Bound and Down (Ferrell's other sitcom) as an out of work baseball player returns to his hometown after flaming out of the big leagues. As the former SNL stat has shown with his movies, Ferrell evidently sticks with a formula that works. The Heder show will be co-written by Ferrell and Gary Sanchez Productions writers Adam McKay and Chris Henchy.
Why is the production company in question named Gary Sanchez when there's no one by that name to be found anywhere in Hollywood? Your guess is as good as anyone else's.

No, will it be 1 camera or 3 camera? I'm betting on 1.

Doing a quick turn around the net, pretty much all the articles I've seen refer to it as "multi-camera", so I'm betting on 3.
