Orville Redenbacher and his popcorn weren't always well-known
I could stay online all day long and watch clips from old game shows. Classic Television Showbiz posted this clip the other day of Orville Redenbacher on the original To Tell The Truth with Garry Moore. This was before all of those commercials and he wasn't as well-known as he would later become. Look at that panel! Bill Cullen, Peggy Cass, Kitty Carlisle, and Joe Garagiola!

Um, the Garry Moore TTTT isn't the original, by any stretch. The show started on CBS in 1956 with Bud Collyer as host. The Moore version was a syndicated version that started in 1969.

Sorry Bob, but your couple sentence posts suck. There are too many of them and they aren't entertaining, informative or even opinionated. Just THERE.

Modwild, just an FYI... Bob didn't just start doing these on his own; I asked him to do it a few months ago so we can shake up the format a bit. If you notice, there are just as many of our regular posts as there have always been, they're just augmented by these short ones Bob does. Many, many blogs have taken to doing this, but they have a design that is able to distinguish between "normal" and "short" posts better than our design can, at least at this time.

That was so cool! Did you notice at the end Peggy got up and headed straight to the popcorn popper?

Well, Joel, I think Bob is getting ripped off a bit. Curious as to why you want them (uber short posts) here? I'm not sure that you need to follow the many, but if that's what you set out to do, then maybe a header for them. "Random Thought" "Interesting to know" "TVS Short" - I'm not the creative one, but it would make it easier to those of us who are looking for content and not random thoughts (which is why I use Twitter).
