The death of Michael Jackson is a stunning blow to the entertainment medium. You'd think upon someone's death, the media could forget all the negative stuff for at least a minute and focus on the positive of their life. But apparently not. So when I got sick to death of Fox News and everyone else going on and on about the child molestation charges and the plastic surgery and all the other weird stuff we already know Michael Jackson is infamous for, I thought I'd check in with MTV.Surely, considering his importance in the music video format, MTV would have a response. And it would mean a break from their glut of reality crap. What a pleasant surprise to see a marathon of Michael Jackson videos. This is how I want to memorialize a music legend. No matter what he did or didn't do with his life, the music will always be his legacy. Thank you MTV (I can't believe I'm saying that) for eulogizing Michael Jackson in the only way that truly matters. With his artistic genius.

Not where I am. Right now it's an episode of "DJ & the Fro." Earlier an episode of "Futurama." When did MTV become the Cartoon Network?

Where? I see their regular programming. Same with VH-1. Only BET (both channels on Directv) seem to be covering his music. Let's give them a little credit.

Hey way to make it political. Why the hell do you say Fox News and everyone else? Shepard Smith was actually playing his music while I was listening. Way to help prove tv squads liberal bias.

It is what it is...Fox news was doing exactly that.We speak of these things because we look to the media for info. MJ was a musical genius WHY would they be speaking negatively of the dead b4 his body is even that cold. Whatever else that happened in his life you CANNOT take away the fact that he is the KING OF POP!

Also on a seperate note, I'm watching this and Sway is awful. His commentary is so robotic its like he doesn't care. Its just crap. I'm not a huge MJ fan, but Sway's commentary is like spitting on MJ, could they have found someone who is more apethetic, I don't think so.

Well, the one thing we can conclude is that the premise of the Super Adventure Club is wrong, eh? I guess buggering little children doesn't lead to eternal life.
Maybe we can get a South Park with Darth Chef slamming both Isaac Hayes and Michael Jackson... I mean, if you're going to do an episode slamming dead guys, you may as well go all the way and get both of these kooks.
I guess I don't get the criticism of people pointing out the truth... and sure, he was never convicted, but then again, neither was OJ convicted of murder.
The truth is he was a child molester.
I mean, really... if you people were around in 1945 you'd be tearing up outside the bunker pointing out that for all his faults Hitler still got Germany out of its hyper-depression of the 1920's..... He'd still be Hitler, and Michael Jackson may be dead, but he's still a child molester.............. catchy tunes or not.

I feel sorry for the younger generation who only knows "Wacko Jacko" and not the brilliant artist Michael Jackson was in the '70s and '80s.

Disrespectful of a pedofile child molester? Ummmm... yep.
"Whatever else that happened in his life you CANNOT take away the fact that he is the KING OF POP!"
Yeah, and whatever else that happened in his life you CANNOT take away the fact that he is a FUCKING CHILD MOLESTER.
Sorry if I don't adhere to the whole de mortuis nil nisi bonum theory.... I think that's stupid and naive.
You dismissed that other Mike's point by saying that was the fact of what Fox was doing... Well, darlin', these are the facts of what Jackson was doing.
Sure... King of Pop 30 years ago and a pedofile for life.
"It is what it is..."
Indeed, nutjob, indeed.

LOL @ Ian
The poster Mike should get what he deserves for stating facts about MJ, but MJ should NOT get what he deserves for molesting children?
Surely you were just trying to pull a funny...it worked, I'm laughing.

tch you cant exactly call if a fact if the case was closed because there was not enough evidence only way any of us are really gonna know for sure is if one day the kids have enough courage to actually stand up and say what did or did not happen without their money grubbing mothers pushing them to say what they want.
