From the network that gave you a show 20 years ago, here's Happy Town
I roll my eyes a bit when a network has to go back about 20 years for a reference that ties into a new show. From the network that gave you Twin Peaks, comes a new town: Haplin, Minnesota. Hey, this show's about a town too! This one is also a mystery, about someone called "The Magic Man," who kidnapped several children years earlier and now might be back and behind a murder and another kidnapping. This has Amy Acker and Dean Winters in it, so I'm definitely going to check it out.

So, a take-off of Harper's Island but in Minnesota. Where are the Minnesotan accents - i.e. Fargo or New in Town?

I wouldn't say this is a take off of Harpers Island. This is a mystery show that is not billed as being a 13 episode run. Although it could ultimately end up that way based on ratings.

Amy Acker? Would that mean she's no longer on Dollhouse?!?!?

Depends. She tends to only be in a couple of scenes an episode in "DollHouse" already. This looks intresting and while there seems to be a big ensemble cast this might be better for Amy fans. I enjoy "DollHouse" and want it to survive, but if Amy is going to be under used in it she she could either A) do both shows since her work schedule on "DollHouse" may not be so demanding. Or leave "DollHouse" and Amy fans can watch her in a show she'll have more screentime and character on.
