The Jay Leno Show: No monsters, just comedy
It must be hard to come up with promos for a show. You have to tease what viewers are going to see without alienating them (old fans or new ones). I don't think the new commercials for The Jay Leno Show do him any good. The one we've already seen with him driving in the sports car is fine. It's quiet and captures what he's all about and all that. But the two below? You decide.

I'm pretty critical of NBC's 10pm decision, but these ads aren't so bad. By no means hilarious, but not bad. Now that they'd decided to move him there, they have to commit. Jay Leno is now their biggest commodity.

Not very original really. It sounds like that Nike commercial:
"No games. Just sports!"

The Jay Leno Show killed off Life.
So...yeah I'm definitely going to try not to watch. But if it's good (and something different from the usual late night shows and more of a variety show like Daily Show or Colbert Report) then I may end up watching it.
Jay is a good comedian, but I was shocked that he still wanted to do more TV. I thought for sure that he would retire after passing off Tonight Show to Conan, but I'm proven wrong.
These ads are ok and I hope the show's quality is better that what's shown here, but I'm still filled with a bit of resentment to the whole thing.

There. This post was obviously bought and paid for. That clears up some of the questions after yesterday's Comfort Wipe confusion.
