- Two of the new characters will be Teddy, a high school tennis champion, and his movie star father who is said to have Clooney-esque charm. In casting script pages, Teddy interacts with Silver and manages to keep her on her toes. Korbi describes the character as a "funny, smart, sweet, not over-the-top, yet not underwhelming" character, which will be a nice addition to replace Ethan and counterpart evil Liam. [Source: Korbi TV]
- Is the show enterting the Twillight Zone? Exec producer Hart Hanson claims that Booth can remember Brennan but that his problem is remembering which Brennan she is exactly. Cue spooky music. [Source: The Ausiello Files]
- Brendan Fehr will be back as Jared Booth next season. The actor doesn't know for how many episodes and in which capacity yet. [Source: Watch with Kristin]
- Rock legend Rick Springfield is joining the series for season three as a rocker named... Rick Springfield! The character is said to be more debauched than Hank! [Source: TV Guide's Mega Buzz]
- The producers and writers are planning a five-year jump between last season's finale and the next season premiere. This could turn out to be a good decision for the series as Jim and Melinda's child would now be 5 years old and Jim would be in the middle of his medical studies. Having their child be 5 years old would also allow more interaction with the kid who is said to be quite powerful and important in the show's mythology. Since news got out about the planned time jump, casting begun for Jim and Melinda's five-year-old child. [Source: TV Squad and Entertainment Weekly]
- In next Monday's season finale, Frannie leaves CRU as spoiled a few months ago. Expect her to go out with a bang that will cause Ashleigh to almost get expelled. Calvin will join the purity club. [Source: Watch With Kristin]
- Matthew Fox says that the season premiere will open up with a follow up to the detonating of Jughead. The actor says that the event will be "very surprising and probably fairly confusing initially to the audience." Lost confusing? Never! Fox also adds that the show's two separate timelines are going to merge into one about a third of the way into the final season. From this point on, the show will offer linear storilines as the action will be resolved on the island. He adds that there would be a final conflict before the series ends. Will it be a Locke versus Jack final conflict? Unknown. But what the actor confirms is that the two characters (or Jack and the person posing as Locke) will definately come head-to-head again. - Rumor has it that Dominic Monaghan may return for four episodes while Maggie Grace would appear in six. Another rumor says that everyone from season one, except Michael and Walt, would appear in the final season. Sadly, no confirmation if this is legit or not. However, Michael Ausiello confirms that the producers have contacted season one regulars to see their availability in the coming year. [Source: Korbi TV and The Ausiello Files]
- The series finale will unravel various mysteries including the significance of the four-toed statue, what the smoke monster really is and who the skeletons in the cave we saw in the first season were. Carlton Cuse and Damon Lindelof confirm that they will answer all the questions that they feel are important and central to the plot... meaning, we won't get ALL answers we are looking for but the most important ones. They will also try to tell redemption stories about the characters and confirm that each have a destiny. [Source: Sunday Mercury]
- In case you missed Bob's post about a spoilery picture from the next season of Mad Men, here is the link to see said spoilery picture that gives a clue as to what year the show is going to be set in and what happens to two of the main characters. [Source: TV Squad and E! Online]
- Lipstick Jungle's hottie Robert Buckley, who appeared in the last episodes of The CW canceled-too-soon Privileged, is joining the series as a sports agent who'll take Nathan as a client and friend. This role is said to be one of the three series regular ones that will be added next season. Still to be cast are the roles of Haley's sister and a supermodel who will work for Brooke. [Source: TV Guide Online]
- More Lassiter backstory in episode 4, "High Noon-ish." The episode is set in the city of Old Sanora where Lassiter spent a lot of time as a child. James Brolin will guest star as a sheriff named Hank who is something of a father figure to Lassiter. [Source: The Ausiello Files]
- CBI will welcome a new agent to take care of the division focusing on the Red John case. The recurring character, named Sam Glenn, is said to not fall for Jane's charms. To add more drama, Glenn was Lisbon's mentor and ex. [Source: The Ausiello Files]

Lost is sounding pretty good to me! I'd flip out if the older cast members came back for the final season.
January is so, so far away. I wish I could time travel :D

So this confirms that Jughead did actually blow up? Or not? I was thinking it was only the initial conventional explosion that went off, not the actual primary nuclear explosion... it takes a conventional explosion to set off a nuke, as everyone who has watched anything related to nuclear weapons on the History Channel knows. Either way, I think there's no doubt that Juliette is dead - her purpose on the show ceased and I was saying they'd kill her off halfway through the past season.

Great, so on "Bones" they can have Booth act lovey dovey with Brennan because he can't tell the dream version of her and the real one apart.
Brilliant. Built in cop-out. Gawd...
