Actually, two pieces of big news.First, everyone has been wondering when season three of the AMC show would start. A lot of people have been speculating late summer, and then the network said it would be August, but now we have a definite date. The third season will bow on Sunday, August 16 at 10PM.
And if you still haven't seen season two for some reason (AMC doesn't have any episodes online and the DVD set won't be out until next month), you're in luck there too: the network is going to show an all-day marathon a week before season three starts, on August 10. It will start at 7AM. Season two is also going to be available OnDemand starting July 20.
I've really missed this show. I'm not going to wait until that August 10 marathon, I'm going to go to my DVR and watch season 2 again way before that.

It was posted on May 11, so I guess it's closer to a month ago now.

Its kind of what they've been doing with all thier AMC shows. They did this with the past two seasons of "Mad Men" and "Breaking Bad".

tunaman: I know the Lipp sisters. That news about the premiere was never "official." It only became official this week. In fact, the Lipps' site has a post today too about the Aug 16 premiere date (as does Rich Sommer, who plays Harry on the show).
Ryan: no word has leaked yet on what year the show will be set in this season or what's going to happen on the show. Matt Weiner likes to keep things secret and surprising.
