Fox News anchor Megyn Kelly takes on Playboy
In a way it's hard to talk about this since we can't read the article that Fox News anchor Megyn Kelly is talking about (it has been removed from the Playboy site), but if it's 1/10 as disgusting as she says, then she has a right to be angry.

Please put politics aside. Would anyone be pleased if these things were said about your daughter?

The first amendment does not protect all speech. It does not protect someone's right to yell "fire" in a movie theater when there is no fire and it does not protect speech that has as its goal the promotion of violence.
To say that your post isn't political is ridiculous because you know your opinion would be different if the subjects of the attack were Charlize Theron, Sharon Stone, and Kirsten Powers.
I agree with bsgfan--this should be an apolitical issue that everyone should agree to condemn.

It's not as bad as she says. Hate sex is the idea of having sex with somebody you dislike because it is the ultimate revenge. Its not rape. I've only seen a part of the article, but one part I did see was about Michelle Malkin. In it the writer points out some of the things she's said in the past like sticking up for Japanese Interment camps while advocating that we should use them for Muslims today. Saying things like that is a ok for her, but stating you'd sleep with her based on appearance even though you can't stand her is so much worse.

Pointing out someone else's reprehensible behavior does not justify committing your own reprehensible behavior. Or did you miss that day in KINDERGARTEN?

We wouldn't want to incite people to violence, would we Fox News?
Oops, look at that. It's time for another story about "Tiller the baby killer".

That's 60,000 TOTAL abortions. Most were not late term, and only if two doctors other than Tiller said that their was a pressing concern over the health and safety of the mother.
I'm not saying that the Bill O'Riley's, and Keith Olbermann's of this world lie. I'm just saying that the internet makes it really easy to look up facts rather than taking grand declarative statements at face value.

Oscar's absolutely correct. "Hate sex" isn't even close in connotation to rape. For effing that up, Megyn Kelly has made *my* "hate sex" list.
Oh, who am I kidding? She's hot. I'd have hate-less sex with her.

I think it goes without saying that Fox News is hypocritical at the least, and totally insane at worst. So telling its viewers everyday that your President associates with our terrorists enemies and will be the reason why there will be another US terriorist attack falls under free speech but someone targets thier "personalities" and other conservative "celebrities" and they cry foul?

"I printed it out, it was on the Internet"
The piece was dumb but then again look at those women, they clearly didn't get their jobs as "political analysts" because of their CV but rather their features. The bottom line is this: the airwaves are polluted by blond conservative morons with charming good looks like Miss California. While "hate sex" is far too close to rape it's an accurate description. You really want to boink these women because your cerebellum tells you to want it, and you really really hate them because they spew conservative BS. I consider it by far more "hate sex" in the way Al Bundy made peg wear a blond wig or put on a paper bag during sex than the suggestion to rape the women on this list, but the problem is: you can joke about this with your friends and co-workers whom you know would never ever do something like this, but you simply CAN NOT publish such a list on the internet or anywhere unstable people could read it and consider it a shopping list for their next rape-du-jour.
But on the other hand Limbaugh and O'Reilly put out lists all the time, and when they are called out for it they chuckle it off.
But again - this can be taken as a rape shopping list and the person who wrote it should be ashamed. There's a line you can not cross when you publish something and they clearly crossed it. playboy.com isn't the Onion and even there it would've been far over the line.

Oh and please feel free to attack me on the first three sentences without reading the rest of my post just because you really don't want to understand what I'm trying to say here.
Again: I'm in no way defending the person who wrote this but every man who doesn't have the same opinion as e.g. Elizabeth Hasselbeck really hates her and he wants her because she's insanely beautiful. So instead of wanting "love" sex with her like a conservative you could call it "hate" sex because you hate her for the beliefs and ideas she stands for. But you'd never ever consider doing anything out of that hate other than get into a heated discussion with her. The simple problem is: men rape. Don't joke about it in public. It's not funny. And it's not correct, in no way. Joke about it with your buddies at most and even then don't say "I hate her so much I want to do her". Even that's not funny.
Ah whatever. Every guy who watches any of those shows with these women on knows where the mute button on their remote is, that's about my point. You have to hate yourself if you listen too much to what they are saying. It's a) idiotic and b) not worth your time.
