Who's creepier: Jack in the Box or The King?
Both of these fast food mascots will haunt your dreams. The masks they wear, the way they don't talk much (if at all), the way they show up in unexpected ways. It's like getting Jason Vorhees to be the mascot for Dunkin' Donuts. Here are two recent commercials. Let us know which one gets the "creepier" nod.

Burger King is the creepiest and stupidest commercials I have ever seen! Would you want your 4 year old to have a distorted-masked man walk up to her & hold out a hamburger??? Hell, NO! We have even stopped going to BK because of their commercials.
At least Jack-In-The-Box tries for humor. I still can stop laughing at the mini-burger "cowboys herding cattle the size of Schnauzers, but their cattle." That just cracks me up.
DOWN WITH BERGER KING!

burger king wins the creepiest by a mile. I don't know who their advertising company is, but I am willing to bet the CEO of that company is a 14 year old male with adhd and social issues.

Jack almost never shuts up in most of the commercials and pretty much just walks around like any other regular Joe, but one out of three ain't bad (Well it is, but until somebody starts editing these things, I guess it's as good as we're going to get).
Anyway, Jack, a little edgy, hardly creepy at all, actually funny occasionally. The King, more frat boy than edgy, fairly creepy, but great in the Spongebob commercial.

The Burger King lives in the Uncanny Valley, and Jack doesn't.
Jack isn't creepy, he's a fast-food hero.

We don't have Jack in the Boxes in my area so the only time I get to see their commercials is online and he is truly creepy as is "The King".
Although I must say I do love the Star Trek themed "Kingon" commercials.
"Jack" gets my vote as the creepiest though. The king is funny creepy while "Jack" is stalker, slasher, serial killer creepy.

The King, by far. The way his head is too ginormous for his body ... I mean, I know Jack's head is big but he's a round ball and not meant to look pseudo-human. The King is and he creeps me out big time. I zip past his commercials really fast.

While both are on their own level of creepyness, I find it way weirder that they actually use Menopause as a theme for a food commercial…!? That woman is way creepier than any of the mascots…

The Burger King commercials are much creepier, as well as being annoying and just plain stupid. Normally the Jack in the Box ads are witty and pretty funny, but the menopause one just makes me scratch my head and wonder what they were thinking when they made this ad. I agree with MILE that it is extremely weird to use menopause as a theme in a food commercial.
However, my vote for all around worst fast food commercials goes to Hardee's. They seem to be on a mission to gross us out by showing people shoveling their enormous, sloppy burgers into their mouths, talking with their mouths full and getting food all over themselves. I especially hate the ads with Padma Laksme from Top Chef trying to be all seductive and sexy while splattering her food all over her sweaty body and licking it off of herself. At best it's disgusting, at worst it's a combination of soft core porn and messy food. If you happen to like soft core porn and messy food, that's fine, knock yourself out. But it still strikes me as an odd way to try and sell food to a mass audience, especially one that incluces children.

No question - The King by a mile. Jack has some endearing qualities, but the King, with his silence and freaky situations, gives a whole new meaning to creepy.

Burger King definitely wins in the creepy area! That first halloween when everyone dressed up as him was scarier than any other costume I've ever seen!

The woman in the menopause commercial is definitely creepier than either the Jack in the Box or the King. If I have to narrow it down to the two mascots, though, I'd go for The King, because at least Jack is out in the open, not sneaking into your bedroom at night.
Seriously, though, that menopause commercial is the most offensive thing I've seen since the 1980s commercial that implied that women would be satisfied to stay home and bear your children if they just took an aspirin. They got a lot of flack for that one: Stepford Aspirin. If you don't remember it: a young married couple are looking at a possible house to buy, and the man comments that one of the rooms would be good for a baby. The woman flips out: what about her career? Then she takes an aspirin and she agrees that it would be nice to have kids.

Jack actually shows emotion (they modify his face as necessary, usually to humorous effect). The King never does, and is far creepier for it (uncanny valley indeed, chet!)
Jack's spots are almost always funny as well, using Jack as the protagonist and often the subject of the jokes. The King just IS...and that's what's so disturbing.
This is by far the creepiest BK commercial: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kqyWS7W-K68
And this one's kind of out there as well: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MZ1N_zowR0U

Oh dear god... the King is the king of creepy. I get a case of the willies every time those commercials come on tv. I don't think I'll ever be able to set foot into another Burger King again.

The guy that does the Jack In The Box voice was on the 04/24 episode of the Adam Carolla Podcast. Was very funny when he questioned the King's sexuality!!
Listen to it here: http://www.adamcarollapodcast.com/

Jack's wife (not the woman in the menopause commercial)
is hot - therefore, not creepy.
However, the hottub commercial with the pornish couple wanting to make a "Jack Sandwich" was off the chart weird.
