I know it's been out for a couple of weeks or so now, but the latest ABC House promo got my attention, so I went back and watched it. I remember networks used to do things like this; having characters from different shows interact, and I've always had a thing for crossovers. Hell, I watched Laff-a-Lympics growing up just because of the crossover aspect.Of course, the primary difference with this one is the McSteamy v. Hurley ending; which I completely agree with. These kinds of creative initiatives help give the network an identity and give fans something to keep the shows in their minds through the summer. And there's so much more potential available here, and even on other networks to play with similar ideas. How about a game show with Dr. House competing against Dr. Bishop (Fringe)?
The networks have talked about ways to try and keep fans watching through the commercials, and I think something lik the ABC House is exactly the way to do it. Take familiar characters and put them in fun and inventive environments, mixing and matching from different shows. The possible scenarios there are endless. So I'll let you guys come up with some good ones for all the networks.

I really love these ads! I'm not even a Jack fan, but I have to agree he looks hot in this one and the one with just him and Teri Hatcher... I'm bothered, though, by the fact we don't see Betty's face- I guess that means it's not really her? It's kind of distracting because I start wondering... haha.

They're definitely cute spots. I really enjoy the smashing of the megaphone. Now if we could only get Ty to shut up too.

It's McSteamy not McDreamy in the bathroom.

I had to tape (VHS) Laff-a-lympics for my kids when they were younger and they watched it a hundred times. I wonder where that tape is now??

I agree. These commercials definitely make me stop fast forwarding and watch. Brilliant marketing on the part of ABC/Disney.

The one network showdown I've always wanted to see would be Jack Bauer and House. I've always wondered how Jack's anything-to-get-it-done-ness would do vs House's sarcasm and overall lack of seriousness.
