The Cougar is in the running for Worst TV Show of 2009 honors in my mind, so it's good to see that late night host Chelsea Handler feels the same way. Here she is doing a little rant about the show (some suggestive scenes and jokes included, so put your headphones on if you're at work).
I'll say this again: isn't it awful how low TV Land has gone? It's weird that I can watch a great Andy Griffith Show marathon, immediately followed by The Cougar. There's something wrong there. (Video also here if the one below doesn't work for you.)

No interest in cougars here--unless they're attacking Kim Bauer, of course--but, when did Chelsea Handler start looking so butch? I mean, did she come out? Did they catch her before she went to make-up for this mini-rant? What's with the shirt? She used to be so hot...ish.

My problem with the show was the premise was all wrong. It's seems to be done in reverse of how it should be. Guys don't compete for a cougar. Cougar's prowl for guys. It should have been one guy with 10 cougars trying to capture him.

If nothing else, "The Cougar" is just a very clear example of how far down the drain TV Land has gone since its glory days. Someone stick a fork in it cuz it's done.

Chelsea Handler only has her own show because she's screwing the CEO of E. I was wondering how the hell her untalented, cocky, unfunny ass got a show. Well...there you have it...
