What You Missed Last Night: Kreskin stands on Jimmy Fallon
There are probably a ton of Late Night with Jimmy Fallon viewers who have no idea who The Amazing Kreskin is. But he was a big deal many, many years ago. Last night he did a trick on Fallon's show that I think he said he wasn't allowed to do on The Tonight Show when Johnny Carson was host. Honestly? I have no idea what's so special about this trick. And neither does the audience, judging from their reaction.

I thought that was pretty amazing. First off, the trick was pretty cool, and Jimmy didn't even crack a smile during that whole thing!

It would have been a lot cooler if you hadn't seen the straight bar that held him rigid, you can see it most clearly at the very end when Jimmy kind of bends forward to shake his hand, to do that trick right the participant should always remain upright and never bend at all, but when he bends you can see the connecting piece pushing his coat tails straight out.
Jimmy Fallon ruins everything he does.

Duke,
I have performed this "test" many times, over my 40+ years as a magical entertainer. The stunt is explained in many hypnotism books. THERE IS NO STEEL BAR. Comments like this demonstrate the downside of the internet.
