NBC has a fake tour of the new Tonight Show set up on the show's site (it features Conan, Andy, and Max doing the show in a giant warehouse with just a school desk and a bucket to bang on), but Access Hollywood's Maria Menounos got a real tour of the set from Conan himself. Spoiler warning: it features a desk, a mug, a couch, and curtains! (Video is also here.)
I like the set... But I think it needs to have more bright colors and lights... It might just be the way it was filmed and the lights weren't on or something.
I have watched the tonight show for years, every night. I honestly liked it as a kid because it helped me go to sleep. Sounds silly, but it helped me wind down. So did Leno. This program seems too stimulating for early late night. I also do not care for the blue background at the begining. It looks like a fish tank. I liked it when they stood on stage like Johnny did, with a simple stage,curtains.desk. I think the Tonight show has a more conservative audience. Even if people fall asleep, they will tune back in,but if you overstimulate their brains, they will find something else the next night.

The set looks flashy enough, but something's a bit out of place... Oh, right... The host.

I'm sure no one will notice, Michael. They haven't noticed since 1992.
