I would love to put a title to this finale of the third season of The Tudors, but I can't find it. The IMDb is no help, and even the Showtime site for the show isn't very helpful (no episode titles, at least not any I can accurately decipher - maybe they're just numbered?). So if you know the title of this episode let us know!
The show will be back again for a fourth (and final) season. What did you think of the finale?

I believe all episodes in this series are numbered titles. I won't get season 3 until Sept. on the Canadian channel Showcase, which carries it.

Cromwell's demise was the main point of this season's finale. Even though he was really a bad guy, who orchestrated charges against his former ally Anne Boleyn, you had to feel for him and his family especially after getting assurances from the King himself that he will be ok and getting put in prison the very next day. Even King himself felt sorry for that decision. And final scene of his execution was just gory in all its Showtime glory.
Second part is getting the next and final season off to a somewhat good start. I didn't like the introduction of Catherine Howard. There were so many historical inacuracies there and they should have used the historical story of her introduction to King Henry. Main question is, how will they justify her infidelities (not with others but with Sir Frances, considering she was in contract to marry him)
I think season 4 will shape to be a good one, too bad they will not continue the story with Henry's three children.

You spent a paragraph illustrating your inability to find a title for the finale but spent no time discussing the actual finale itself.
This "Open Thread" nonsense needs to end! To the managers of the site - I'd recommend putting people who can produce in charge of the reviews!
I'd understand if this was middle of the season drivel, but this is a FINALE for crying out loud!

I'm about to watch it now. I didn't realize it was going to be the finale. The seasons are usually 10 episodes long. And the episodes are just numbered - no titles.

"Historical inaccuracies"? I love "The Tudors", but the show is one historical inaccuracy after another. In fact, I'd be *shocked* if there were fewer than 1,000 major factual inaccuracies in this series so far.
Like last night... not only was Lambeth Palace never used as a brothel (was that a snide comment by the producers?), the building shown did not resemble the real Lambeth Palace in any way. Which is odd, given that they apparently went to great lengths to made the CGI version of Nonesuch Palace look as close to what archaeologists think it looked like...
Again, I love the show, but a history lesson it ain't!

As we've mentioned several times before, we provide these open threads for shows that we don't review. Some shows just don't get a ton of traffic/comments so we provide these posts for fans to discuss various episodes.

But why aren't you doing reviews on The Tudors? You guys used to. Case in point -- this link is for the review of one of the episode's towards the end of last year's Season 2. How come we don't get those kind of reviews anymore for The Tudors?

Maybe your team wants to rethink how you use your time. Someone is going to spend the summer watching 6 seasons worth of West Wing, a show no longer in production, but no one can manage the time to watch programs currently in production and on air?
If there were regular reviews about programs like The Tudors, In Plain Sight, etc. more people might check those out and get a chance to watch them while they're still being broadcast.

If you folks head over to the Showtime site for the show, you will see that they have an extensive database of the show's characters, including everything they've changed, added and deleted, and in many cases, the reason for the change.

I LOVED the introduction of Catherine Howard - so much sexual chemistry I was practically panting myself!
I have to read up on my history because I don't remember anything of anything - just the names of the wives. If I remember correctly though, Henry and Anne of Cleves became thick as thieves - very good friends, no, and was his constant companion until he died, because she was such a good conversationalist?

well they werent thick as theives so to speak, henry did however make Anne of cleves his official "sister" and she was the last of all six of his wives to die, she outlived them all even Henrys last wife who died after giving birth to her daughter to her then husband, thomas seymour
I do not like how Katherine will be portrayed as a whore, who had an affair with thomas culpepper as there is no proof whatsoever, i have read Starkey and Joanna Dennys books about her and thomas was her cousin and they were in a "close" relationship, but there is no proof of sexual intamicy
