First off, isn't that a cool way to do titles for a two-part season finale? I'm waiting for the day when some show has a two-parter where the first episode is titled "The" and the other one is titled "End."
This season finale focused on a serial killer who killed prostitutes and the homeless and took them across the border into Canada. The previews with the pigs kinda creeped me out (I guess pigs are the villains in many ways this year). How was this finale? The show has been renewed for another season.

Please someone tell me that Hodge is not dead. I don't remember reading anywhere that he wasn't coming back next season!

@#4, Carole-
It's Hotch, short for Hotchner, which is his last name.

I guess this new "open thread" thing is to avoid having to write actual reviews, and have us do it for you.

The shooter at the end, says You should have made a deal.....I cant think of what episode it was, but in one episode a killer played by cthomas howell, strikes a deal with a local police officer to where he will stop killing, the officer dies and he starts again, with that he was not caught at the end of the episode, Hotch was giving the same chance to make a deal he choose not to, the how m o was the same, the mask, the 357, I find it hard to believe that CTH's character would kill off such a big role of the show. Im willing to bet he is going to get shot, and then be in ICU for a few episodes, then come back

This was a difficult episode to watch; it veered dangerously close to the torture porn the entertainment industry seems to be shoving down our throats. I know their target audience is males 18-34 and I guess that's who likes torture porn, but this was pretty gross. On the other hand, because this show is now long-running enough that it's as much character-driven as plot-driven, I still watch faithfully because I'm involved with the characters. That said, if they killed off Hotch, I may be done with this show.

Please do not kill Hotchner. I love this show and he is very important as the team leader. To focus their efforts.

Intriguing. But not particularly original. Their recipe for Season Finale stew: Take a bit of Hannibal, throw in some Bones, stir it with Sopranos, and add just a dash of Dallas.

Guys, this was taken directly from the headlines. Canada had a serial killer by the name of Robert Pickton in British Columbia - 89 or more prostitutes went missing and a lot of the bodies have been found on Pickton's pig farm. He's been convicted of several murders.

I loved the episode, but I was really annoyed that the official description of the show was 'With one of the BAU agents in danger...". I guess they were referring to the last 2 minutes with Hotch...? Kinda messed up the whole episode for me because I kept trying to figure out who they were talking about instead of just enjoying the events of the episode.

Trying to figure out if he was from an earlier episode...or was it the blond kid who sold out the hotel guy cashing checks? ....Hodge lives....wild hunch that one of his team members crept up behind the kid and SHOT him!!..very creepy episode

The part of the guy in the mask saying "You should have made a deal" kept me up for an extra hour!! I couldn't figure it out..like your choices though...Mine would be the Canadian Cop in charge of the investigation in Canada!

Folks, we still review a ton of shows, but some shows have never gotten a lot of traffic or interest, so we don't review them. However, we have started to have these open threads to serve as a forum for those readers who do want to discuss the episodes. We're not taking any reviews away, we're just adding open threads for shows we don't cover so fans can talk about them.

Are we suppose to know who the masked guy is? I'm racking my brain to figure it out but I can't think who Hodge should have made a deal with. Any theories?

I think it is the Reaper. Remember, in a previous episode... Hotch is relaxing in his hotel room when the phone rings. It’s the Reaper! “If you stop hunting me, I’ll stop hunting them,” the unsub growls. Barks Hotch: “I don’t make deals. I’m the guy that hunts guys like you!” Seconds later, the Reaper boards a city bus and massacres everyone on board...

The masked guy is the unsub from the episode Omivore, George Foyt who escaped at the end of that episode. He had made a deal with the previous FBI agent not to kill and they had kept it but when Hotch took over Hotch refused the deal and vowed to capture him.
