If you missed Family Guy last night, you missed Peter having sex with his daughter Meg. OK, OK, it was all part of one of those "let's use the characters of this show to tell a story about long ago," so they weren't really father and daughter, but once you see that, you can't unsee it. They also killed the cast of How I Met Your Mother with arrows (the first of two How I Met Your Mother jokes on FOX last night - American Dad had one too).I think we all could have done without those very unfunny "Stewie interviews Eminem" spots scattered throughout the evening.

Seeing Peter and Meg having sex and Lois wanting to have sex with Stewie were much more disturbing than seeing Peter kill Meg.

this episode was pretty brutal. a couple funny moments here and there, but they need some new material.

Family Guy has been very unfunny for a couple seasons now. I have liked a piece of an episode here and there, but mostly, the show is like the Simpsons was after it had its spinoff (Futurama)...the new show is truly the better show and the quality of the original has gone down.
I can't say I remember a single joke from last night that made me laugh...except maybe the joke where they made fun of the promos (slowly rotating black man).
One thing I can say is that TV Squad is really getting lazier and lazier now. Do you guys actually get paid to "write" these "Open Threads"? Is it really that hard for TV Squad to publish short reviewcaps on every show that is on the site?
When you run a business (TV Squad) you are supposed to increase quality, not decrease it. This site has been going steadily downhill for months, and these "open threads" are the epitome of the diminishing quality of this once good website.

Me too... looks pretty innovative for Fox.
My question... I've heard the song, but what movie was that from, when Stewie said "I came sooo unprepared... I didn't know we could rip off movies!"

"Slowly Rotating Black Man" looks like it would be a riot, too.
By far, the three fake show ad banners were the funniest things about the episode.

Dan, as we've said several times before, we're not replacing the posts we do with shorter posts, we're *adding* these shorter posts and open threads to the news, reviews, and feature posts that we've always done. It's *more* posts, not less.
As for the open threads, there are some shows that we don't review because they didn't get much traffic. Still, we want to give those fans a place to discuss some of the episodes, so that's why we're doing the open threads.

After last weeks bashing of joaquin phoenix, this episode seemed pretty tame.
