So last night at 9PM, everyone in the country was watching either the Lost season finale or another exciting elimination on American Idol. Or were they? Is there anyone out there who doesn't watch Lost or AI and actually tuned into Criminal Minds instead, even if it didn't guest star Alex O'Loughlin this week?

I watched Criminal Minds last night and I don't watch the other shows. I don't watch Criminal Minds every week, but it is well made and well acted.
Even when Jason Alexander is dressed like Colonel Sanders.

This is one of my favorite shows. I liked the call back to Reid's drug problem when he refused any narcotics. I do have to wonder why the writers keep picking on him.

I never miss Criminal Minds. Brilliant show. IMO, best on the air. I thought last night's was terrific. The bar is set very high, and they come through most of the time. I can't wait for the season finale, although I'll miss it terribly when it's on hiatus.

CM is a must-see on my list. Stellar cast and writing, even though at times the show can and will get a little dark in it's subject lines. But that being said, I look forward to it every week and the interaction between the team is priceless. Great shout out to Reid's past drug use problems. And let's face it, the ep last night makes everyone think in today's world after the chemical attacks in '01 as they were glossed over in the show.

Criminal Minds is definitely my favorite show (probably tied with NCIS and Lie to Me, depending on what day of the week it is). This episode was fantastic! I knew when Reid cut himself on the flower bush that he was going down, but I also knew that since he has the biggest fanbase of any one character on the show, there was no way they could just kill him off.
I cried a salty river when he asked Garcia to record his goodbye to his mother, and also when she was telling JJ about how she "wills her babies to come back to her." We kind of always knew that she saw the team as her flock rather than her coworkers, but hearing her say it in that context was touching.
I will admit that when Reid was in the ambulance and started to lose speech, I started to worry. They couldn't kill him, certainly, but cause severe physical and emotional damage that spans several episodes, maybe even seasons? That they could totally do. The writers seem to almost kill Reid and Garcia more often than anyone else. Maybe that's just my imagination. Either way, I think it makes more of an impression because they both seem to be considerably more vulnerable than, say, Hotch or Morgan. All have proven themselves, but when Hotch and Morgan's lives were on the line, I was never worried. Which is, on reflection, worrisome.
Anyway. I absolutely loved that while Morgan was super worried about Reid, he still provided the a$$-kicking that was necessary to keep him on track and find the cure.
On another note, uber kudos to Dr. Kimura's (?) character, who was probably the most cool-headed of everyone there. It was refreshing to see someone just take all of the trauma in stride and deal with the situation at hand. And hey, TV-Squadders, if you want someone to review Criminal Minds, NCIS, or Lie to Me, let me know :)
Long Live Criminal Minds!!

It was good, even thought the plot made me think we'd suddenly gone back to 2001.
Reid (and to some degree Garcia) is the woobie on this show, hence why they are sympathetic targets. I love them, though. Yay for somehow having an antidote!

I do NOT miss CM! My husband calls it "Darma & Greg FBI"
I think it is a very well done show. The cases seem more real, not so off the wall and nuts like other shows. They are also not afraid to break your heart with a dead child or any number of things that happen in real life. I am looking forward to next week

We always enjoyed Criminal Minds, a mature and sophisticated show about the minds of crminals and how they think. Extra-ordinary. Until last night, May 20, when a Prime Time Show began with the most grusome story line ever. If this will be the new trend, we won't be watching it any more. Oh, around 10:10 pm, CBS went black for about 10 minutes. Time to shut off the show and move on to something just as awful, a discussion about Bush and Cheney and how they permited torturing of the prisoners. Thanks to you, CBS, we are so sad you are not showing good taste. We're over 60, we've spent Wednesday Nights fixed on Criminal Minds. Why the big change during these last 2 months. Knowing how the Criminal THINKS works for me. I truly do NOT want to see such Torture...ever. Bye Bye Criminal Minds....an faithful fan gone.

Will next season be as gorey as last night's Mind distrubing/troubling show? We LOVE CM and spent every Wed. nite hooked on the show. Can someone please let us know if the past month's shows will be next year's format. Too much visual. I'd rent a horror movie if I want to see TORTURE. The show has been about the MINDS OF CRIMINALS not the detailed acts. Help - I truly do not want to give up my addiction to Criminal Minds. The dialogue and the acting is superb! Do we need to SEE so much violence. HELP... please respond. What say you?
