Last Thursday's episode of Supernatural ended with a much suspected (and anticipated) beat down between the Winchester brothers, Sam and Dean. When we saw them last, Sam had pretty much beaten Dean to a bloody, but still devilishly attractive, pulp. As Sam left, Dean yelled at him to never come back (which I'm sure faithful fans will remember are the last words John said to Sam before he left for Stanford). Well, it looks like those brotherly bonds are pretty much frayed and forgotten right now. Sam is getting cozy with the demons, Dean with the angels, and they certainly are not working together. When their brewing feud comes to a head this Thursday ... I'm rooting for Sam to win.
It's easy to understand both boys' motivations -- Sam thinks he's saving the world; Dean, likewise, thinks he's the only one who can stop the coming Apocalypse. So the real question becomes, who do you trust more, Ruby or Castiel? Is it the demons who've played Sam for a fool? Or the angels who've lured Dean into their trap? Will Dean eventually have to kill Sam, just as Papa Winchester told him he would? And how does Bobby figure into all this? So many questions!
My guess is that we're going to realize the angels are as dirty as everyone else and Castiel has been playing poor Dean like one of his favorite AC/DC tunes. Sam, despite being in cahoots with Ruby, may be the one on the right side of the whole world-is-ending-I'm-the-only-one-who-can-save-humanity thing.
Come on, Sam girls! Who's on my side here? Despite the long, winding road that Kripke has been leading us down, making us believe that Sam was on a path to certain doom, I bet there's more going on than we're aware. I bet Sam isn't actually evil and knows exactly what he's doing. Dean just needs to trust him a little (or a lot). Demon blood is demon blood, but Winchester blood has to count for something, too, right?

The demons are known to have a history of back stabbing throughout the show, so something about Ruby disappearing for a few weeks without even contacting Sam has gotten me just a little worried.
Dean has Bobby on his side, so I'm guessing they should be alright. But I think the best part about this whole thing is that no one can really tell at this point. No one knows if either Sam or Dean will stop the apocalypse or not, and ever since Dean got sent to Hell last season there's always unforeseen possibilities.
I'm leaning slightly for Dean, but I'm happy that I can't tell right now.

I think the outcome has already kinda been foreshadowed. Ruby told Sam last week that the last seal to be broken has to be done but Lucifer's first and that is Lilith. My guess is that the seal must be opened with her death. Azazel planned this from the beginning and Ruby is working his plan out to the end. She is prodding Dean to become a Demon killer because killing Lilith will actually be the last seal which will allow Lucifer to rise. Dean will be the only one who can stop it because he is the only one who can kill Sam or maybe talk Sam out of it. That is my take on it.

I think that Ruby is playing Sam, but then again, one can never know. I just can't wait for the finale, especially to hopefully find out what the angels' agenda really is.

Sam's a drug addict in DIRECT violation of God's orders who is sucking demon blood.
Lilith set this whole thing up and Ruby was her inside man. It was a huge con on Sammy and he's an idiot. Like he usually is when it comes to shit like this.
TEAM DEAN. Because God said so.

Sam is an idiot for trusting a demon in the first place. This SAME demon who wanted to watch Dean go to hell so that she could watch the flesh burn from his skin. Nice. Sam didn't even last a week alone without bascially replacing his dead brother with her - although he does get to screw her and drink her blood, so that's a bonus!
Has Sam ever really considered that, oh I don't know, she probably a LIAR. Cuz she's a DEMON. Meh. Sam only wants to take on Lilith because HE wants to be the super special chosen one, just like his hallucination-mommy told him ... Dean is weak, but Sammy is strong and special.
Team DEAN, thank you very much. And after Dean takes care of things, he needs to kick Sam's ass for, well, being such an ass this season.

I can appreciate rooting for the underdog, but let's remember...
Demons = bad
Angles = good

Well, angels an't that good. And since you're not born a demon but become one ... i guess there 's hope for redemption.
But, no, I don't trust Ruby. And more importantly I don't trust Sam nor his jugment. He wants so much to be the Hero, the one who sacrifice oneself, just like his father and his brother did, to save the day. Plus, one might feel stronger with demon blood, but it seems to cause severe brain damages, amphetamine-like !
