...the Bio channel hopes that you do. Bio is looking to expand its programming schedule for the new TV season with a number of new shows and pilots, including Celebrity Ghost Stories. The show will offer eight hour-long episodes featuring celebs like Carrie Fisher, Joan Rivers and Scott Baio talking about their real-life run-ins with ghosts.
OK, this show sounds crazy, but I'm gonna watch it anyway. I'll skip the Joan Rivers ep (she's nuts, so I buy that she sees ghosts, giant purple elephants and God knows what else all day), but I'm curious to hear what Carrie Fisher has to say.
As far as I know, Fisher is an intelligent, well-regarded and, um, not-too-crazy writer and actress. Did she get slimed on the set of Return of the Jedi? Was R2D2 possessed? I want to know.
As for Scott Baio, I think he's the kind of guy who will say or do anything to be on TV. Still, I'm curious to see what kind of bullsh*t he'll come up with. According to Bio, other celebs slated to appear on Celebrity Ghost Stories include Gina Gershon, Ernie Hudson, Belinda Carlisle and Sammy Hagar (what, no David Lee Roth?).
Bio is also renewing I Survived... and Shatner's Raw Nerve. Pilots being considered include My Ghost Story: Haunting Revealed, like Celebrity Ghost Stories featuring non-famous folks, and Primetime Confidential (working title) which goes behind the scenes of classic TV shows.

Hey Mike Moody. Keep your derogatory comments about Joan Rivers to yourself. I love her. I think she is a riot and it takes talent to be a good comedian. She is also a wonderful kind person.

Ernie Hudson would be pretty funny considering he played a ghostbuster. But also, is it wrong that the first thing I thought of for him was Brandon Lee? They worked together on The Crow where Lee was killed. Maybe spooky things happened on set afterwards.
