The Fashion Show: The Must Have (series premiere) - open thread
So, was The Fashion Show a worthy successor and/or replacement for Project Runway, or did it just scream "copycat" (or maybe "copycatwalk")? The first episode (video below or here) aired last night, with Isaac Mizrahi as host. Let us know what you thought about it.

I don't think it screamed copycat, but it wasn't particularly entertaining either. Didn't care much for the contestants and cared even less for the hosts. PR was much better, primarily because of Heidi, Tim, Michael, and Nina.

Hmm I think the judging portion was taken to the extreme in trying to be different as to not just be a copycat. Throwing the presentation open to a room full of buyers, insiders et al right away seemed too much. But on the other hand having feedback from a wider pool than just four judges might not be so bad.

If you're enjoying this show as much as I am, you should play Bravo's Fashion Show fantasy game. It's a rotisserie-style fantasy league that follows the contestants and the eliminations on the show. You can win clothes, accessories, Isaac Mizrahi's book, and other prizes. Check it out: http://games.bravotv.com/fashionshow
