Leave it to the network that exposed us to Howard Stern's bare ass to create a show about some dude's junk.It looks like MTV is moving ahead with Hard Times, a comedy about a high school nerd who becomes popular after accidentally exposing the student body to his, er, gigantic penis. Hard times. Get it?
OK, MTV. You win. You've been trying to alienate everyone except horny, gas-huffing teenage boys and text-happy mallrats for years now. I think you've finally done it. Congratulations.
Hard Times will star Paul Iacono as the well-endowed nerd. The show is produced/directed by David Katzenberg (son of Jeffrey and arm candy of Nicky Hilton). Here's a glimmer of hope: the show is written and directed by Seth Grahame-Smith, who worked on the hilarious Web series Clark and Michael, starring Michael Cera and Clark Duke.
According to IMDB, Grahame-Smith's next project is called Pride and Prejudice and Zombies. With a title like that, it will most certainly be awesome. Still, it's not enough to make me want to watch something like Hard Times, which I presume Grahame-Smith is making only to finance his next eventual project, Sense & Sensibility of the Dead.

Sounds like the early years of John Holmes and look how well his life turned out.
I have to wonder why Viacom and Redstone can condone programming that glorifies risky behavior. No matter how this show is written,it focuses on the appeal of a guy's dick.
Comcast also is doing this kind of stuff on G4.It's using risky stupid behavior of young people as a marketing gimmick.
Yeah let's all encourage tenn agers to drink,do drugs and have sex with anybody.Way to be up to date and responsible.

I couldn't agree with you more D. I mean I know this appeals to some audiences but coming from the perspective of a high school teacher, some kids really try to imitate these incredibly stupid characters. After the fast and the furious movies came out I can't tell you how many problems we had with drag racing. (Ok back to the topic.) Don't get me wrong I can appreciate the occasional raunchy joke. I've seen all of Judd Apatow's stuff. But try to bring in some kind of moral lesson. Don't give our kids any excuse to act stupid. They don't need it.
