The 99th episode of Grey's Anatomy has come and past and the last five minutes got to me. There's something gratifying about having all the storylines set to music and every other character in tears. It's definitely setting up for the big 100.

I was a little tense about the storyline of the little girl shooter, but it was written in taste. The girl was creepy since she reminded me of every stereotypical horror movie child, silently staring at the lead characters. Why is Meredith often paired up with killers? I get it, the little girl is supposed to parallel Meredith's relationship with her father or the chief, but she could have just been an ignored daughter and not a shooter whose mother probably handed her the gun.

Does anyone know exactly the rules to the ninth step of recovery for alcoholics? I was kind of confused as to why Mr. Grey read his little book for forgiveness; I assumed it was because he wrote down his message before he got to his girls so he could say exactly what he needed to. Kudos to Mark for stepping up and meeting Mr. Grey, he must really love Lexie. As for the relationship between the Chief and Meredith, it's always been obvious that the Chief was biased towards her. It's nice seeing him finally admit to being a father-figure.

Izzie's mother is something, isn't she? It almost makes me wonder how such a good girl like Izzie came from her; I guess her mother did everything in her limitations to make sure her daughter had a future outside of the trailer park. The psychic and the tarot cards were one thing, but the fact that she watches Tyra and admits to it is hysterical. As an aside, why did Alex seem so indifferent in the beginning of the episode, but so caring at the end? I thought that Alex should care for Izzie no matter how bad her cancer is.

I was glad to see Callie's crisis of conscience get resolved in one episode. It was easily summed up as: be proud of who you are and eventually the people around you will accept it. Well, that's what I got from the tree-hugger Willow and her corporate sister. The real problem I have with Callie is why she has trouble with money. She's a doctor. She doesn't seem the type to go broke after her parents stopped paying for her; she also doesn't seem to have too much time to out and shop. Money shouldn't be an issue.

I understand that Owen has non-FDA approved substances, but how did it make it into Owen's hands outside of Iraq? The substance would seem like contraband and wouldn't make it past the airport. It seems so weird that everyone in the operating room just accepted Owen pouring a substance that looked like salt into a wound. He also seemed to waste the whole substance on one hole.

Next week is the big episode100 and we will definitely have a wedding. The question is who's wedding is it? It seems too obvious that it would be Derek & Meredith, but we do have the other options of Alex/Izzie, Callie/Arizona, Mark/Lexie or the longshots Owen/Christina. I am actually crossing my fingers and hoping that out of nowhere Mark and Lexie are the couple that gets married.
