It seems that Oprah Winfrey is involved in everything these days, doesn't it? Books, dieting, world hunger, education, last year's election, makeovers, Twitter, Facebook, you name it. Now she's involved in a legal fight with an insurance company.Mutual of Omaha, which TV fans might remember from their sponsorship of Wild Kingdom oh so many years ago, is suing the talk show giant because she is using the "A-ha moment" phase. Or maybe it's just "Aha." Anyway, the company says that it has been using the "Aha Moment" phrase since February and they want Oprah to stop using it too. To be honest, I wasn't aware that Mutual of Omaha was using it at all, and I only have a vague recollection that Oprah Winfrey was using it. Hasn't she been using it for a lot longer than the past couple of months?
The band A-ha could not be reached for comment.

Bob,
I may dislike a lot of what you write here, such as your most recent Mac v PC post, but "The band A-ha could not be reached for comment." somehow made me laugh out loud.
Clever.

YES she has used the term "a-ha moment" on her show for way longer; sometimes she refers to this as a "light-bulb moment"--a realization/epiphany.
who are these people trying to kid?!?

Mutual for Omaha has those commercials who are "the official sponsor of the Aha Moment", which I fail to see how they can trademark it, just like Sci Fi decided they can't trademark Sci Fi.
