Part of me is pleased that a federal court judge told the former Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich to stay put when NBC asked him to join their latest celebrity grovel-fest.

He's continuing to grab any media time he can long after the media forgot how to pronounce his last name by promoting the new I'm a Celebrity...Get Me a New Agent Out of Here. And despite my convictions to the contrary, another part of me wishes he would get more.

Mind you, this is the very dark part of me that giggles when elderly people fall and wishes there was a semi-pro "Scarin' Babies League."

The man's tenacity is starting to reach a staggering level. Anyone of us would have to be if we faced federal jail time and the complete implosion of our career, integrity and freedom. Now he is not only willing to put his sorry mug on television every second it will have him, but he is willing to humiliate and degrade himself for a few measly minutes of air time. So I say let the beast loose. Let every low-brow, common denominator reality show offer him a chance to participate in their bug eating contests and emotional endurance marathons to see how far he's really willing to go, just to get on television.

American Idol can invite him to sing on a special celebrity edition, songs like "Can't Buy Me Love" and "Return to Innocence." They don't even have to be tragically appropriate. Just imagine the ratings boost the show would get from an hastily trained rendition of "Touch Myself."

The people behind Ninja Warrior could extend a warm hand to the indicted one to run their gauntlet of fun for the chance a few minutes of pleading his innocence. Watching that funny little man trying to climb a warped wall would make for some mighty fine metaphorical viewing.

I would even give Fox a pass if they brought back The Moment of Truth, just so they can strap his sorry butt in the truth chair and give him the fifth degree to the 10th power.

You know the old saying, "Be careful what you wish for because you just might get it"? Give the man his genie.
