This season of The Celebrity Apprentice may not have Piers and Omarosa to spice things up. However, poker player Annie Duke and comedienne Joan Rivers are a close second.In the first episodes of the season, we didn't see much of the rivalry between the two ladies but the past two or three episodes have shown them as enemies. The two of them have done and said pretty harsh things about the other. The war between the two is still ongoing so before one of them is fired, it's time we take a few minutes and make our predictions as to who will win the war: Annie or Joan?
Before writing this post, I've surfed the show's official website to see what viewers were thinking about the two. One thing is for sure, there are three clans over there: The Annie Haters, The Joan Haters, and the Annie & Joan Haters. I'm sure there are supporters for both ladies, but their comments get lost between the "Joan is trash and has a big mouth" and "Annie thinks she's a know-it-all, and is rude and obnoxious".
One thing we can all agree on is that the feud between Annie and Joan is entertaining. If I only base my opinion on what was shown on the show, I prefer Annie. She has raised more money, has proved to be a good project leader, has not been afraid to take initiative both as a leader and a team member, and is not afraid to speak her mind. I can admit that she sometimes has a "it's my way or the highway" kind of attitude.
As for Joan, she has been a so-so project manager, acts like a diva, orders Melissa to support her even if Melissa didn't see her mother at work (they now are on different teams), cries in the boardroom, and threatens to quit every time Melissa is in danger of being fired. However, I must admit that Joan stepped up in certain occasions to help out her team, especially when it was time to present or host.
So who should win the war? Joan or Annie? The winner will be the last one to be fired. With the very few comments I've made above, it's clear that I think Annie should win. I also believe she would make a better Celebrity Apprentice winner than Joan.

That is a lie, I've read all Annie's blog posts and she's never stooped to the low that lunatic Joan has.
Joan and her daughter are a pathetic excuse for celeb's.. what a dysfunctional couple they are-
BTW- all over the web, apparently last November Joan Rivers spilled on the Howard Stern show that Melissa makes it to the final 2. So either she was lying or Melissa comes back and Joan stays gone.
It's been all over the web for months that Melissa and Annie ar the final 2 and the info about what Joan said on Howard Stern's show appeared to be legit.
We shall see-

Joan Rivers and her daughtrer are a poor image of celebrity. Annie is a superb professional person who is due the complete honors of winning the Celebrity Apprentice and Donald Trump is not pure of his background so how can he judge. The supreme judge will judge him on judgement day as due!!!!

I don't understand Joan's hatred. Is hates Annie because Annie one week said that Brande was the worst contestent, and then discussed it with her and changed her mind? How does that make her evil, or hitler? Joan's hatred seems to change from week to week. She hated Clint Black a few weeks ago, and then in the same episode said she loved him? Isn't that the same thing as what Annie did?
Jesse G. James is the only person who hasn't annoyed me so far, but he isn't going to win because he hasn't brought in enough money. But him and Annie probably put the most work in.

I honestly think that Joan should win she might have a worse attitude than Annie but Annie seems so much more annoying, she has a huge ego, she whines, and she also always has to have the last word. But I think both of them are taking things way to seriously.

I think the whole thing is being staged by two very savvy women who know that drama makes for good buzz which makes for a happy Donald Trump. Their "feud" started the day after Joan, Melissa and Annie went to dinner. Coincidence? I don't think so.....

I personally think that anyone who thinks that attacking a 70 year old woman is cool just shows the morality of society today.
It is a great shame that people are raising their children this way. Allowing them to vehemently disrespect elders.
I am no fan of Joan but I am sure that if someone attacked a 70 yr old regardless of whom it was I would really lay into them ( verbally ,possibly physically if needs be. ), and not congratulate them.
As for Ms Duke, what the he ( double fishsticks) talent is involved in conning people with intimidation?
What a sick society we are becoming to clap at elder abuse and reever grifters as talented

I'm with Joan, I can't stand Annie and they have been shutting Melissa out so I don't blame her for being so upset Melissa is a hard working Annie is playing Brandy like a fiddel Annie will be the last one standing because she is the evil one she would stab anyone in the back to get what she wants. I love Joan she speaks her mind not a back stabber like Annie.

Annie has called Brandi a weak link and needed to go and than got all BFF with her while Mellisa just sat there wondering what is going on. Than last night, Annie took over the task and played Brandi again and Mellissa called it right. SO, was it anyones surpise that she just sat there last night and said just was helping..Annie showed her colors when she threatened any poker player that bidded against her in the Charity fundraiser. Last night was not about who was at fault for losing the task..Annie or Brandi, it was about getting rid of Mellissa for she was the odd girl out while the 2 other 2-faced players continued...Question? would The Trump really want a person like Annie running a company the way she has played. Joan does have a loud mouth but she has not lied or gone behind anyones back. Annie needs to go and Brandi is a dumb blonde for allowing Annie to play her. They deserve each other. Yes, Mellissa does whine but she works hard. But to fire her because she has not raised as much money as the other 2. THat is not about losing or winning the task. Annie lost the task and that is the reason she should have been fired.

I am not a poker player, but one thing I know is that Annie is good...she plays those people like a fiddle. It seems that Melissa has found that out but too late. Too bad, now she is gone and Annie is acting like the queen of poker and she is going to "trump" poor Brandy and when Brandy realizes it, she is going to be dumbfounded...hahaha. Joan told her though and she sure told Annie off but good and I loved it. I think Joan and Melissa played the game as any mother and daughter would have. Donald likes to put coals on fires to get the fires raging. I didn't watch the show last year, but thought I would this year...no more, I've seen the last Apprentice...celebrity or otherwise. Donald you need to come up with another program. Last night's show was a mess with you as the ringmaster and the tigers were Joan, Melissa, Annie and Brandy. Enough is enough.

I was appalled at the behavior of both Joan and Melissa. They both acted like trailer trash. If Joan decided to walk off with her daughter, Mr. Trump should not allow her back. Joan's comments were totally uncalled for. Better people than Melissa were fired earlier in this season - she could have left with some grace and dignity - apparently neither she nor her mother have any!

I've lost a lot of respect for D. Trump these last few weeks. First, he fires a gal who is dealing with a DWI situation in a very positive manner because "she didn't tell him about it" and "I can't stand drunk drivers" and tells her he hopes he taught her a lesson (as if she needed him to teach her a lesson. Then, he gets between a mother and a daughter fomenting the situation as much as he could. I hope HE has learned a lesson!
As for the Annie/Joan situation, If I were Mr. D, I would give Joanie a controlling share in Trump towers to come back. If he plays it right and finesses those two into the finals, He will have to decide based on his character, and that will tell a lot about him. He will pick:
Annie because she represents everything he stands for : cut throught, win at a at all costs, destroy every one in your way.
OR
Joanie because she will call in chips from around the world and set a record for fund raising.

Its unfortunate that Joan had to say things out of anger- we all do that when we are really angry so she is forgiven coz she also has a softer loving side to her which we have also seen. But Anne the only side we have seen of her is 'manipulation'. It is a game I agree but to what extent you would lower your values for a game is quite apparent in Anne's case. If she wins I would be dissappointed since it shows that in America, manipulation is what utlimately wins. If you are genuine and hardworking though people notice it,you will still not be the winner.
Melissa -yes she should not have created that scene considering its a reality show and the whole world is watching- celebrities or no celebrity -they are humans with emotions. She must have felt betrayed that here she was doing a good job and to be ousted by a manipulative co-worker must be disheartning. We have all been there haven't we? Co-workers taking credit for your work-kissing ass to the boss -back biting etc.
As for the show , it is manipulated from the start anyway so the winner will be whomever Trump thinks will boost his show's viewership.
I give it to Trump though-he is smart and he plays his chips well, just like Annie whose action is transparent while Trump's is hidden. Birds of a feather flock together

Annie has called Brandi names and talked so bad about her, just wait until she watches this show in full to see what a fool she was by hooking into Annie's bull crap. I dont' agree with Melissa just simply gripping about it all, she needs to stick her head high and fight through the two of them.. It's very fustrating to watch Trump give Annie and Brandi so much freedom to be such b******... He needs to tell them to grow up.

I think that Melissa should not have been fired. Annie had done everthing last week and took full responsibility for doing this and doing that and when the boarding room came along she put her tail between her legs and that was not fair. She is a stupid poker player and Brandy is a dumb blond who does not know how to spell. Donald should have seen that and it is a shame. The dumb blond stayed just because she is a dumb blond and I guess looked have a big role.
