As Jay pointed out in his reviews of The Office this week (read them here and here), the writers have managed to take an established show into amazing new directions. After quitting in a huff, Michael Scott started his own paper company, and The Michael Scott Paper Company already has a Web site up and running.
"Serving Scranton's paper needs since 2009," the site touts, the company is more than just paper. It's about creating meaningful relationships with people.
"When little Timmy wakes up in the middle of the night with whooping cough and you need someone to call, we'll be there. When sweet Christine gets stood up by her prom date, we'll be there. When the dam breaks in your back yard and the only thing that can stop the flow of water from flooding your house is a ream of paper, we'll be there."
On the site, you can also download a coupon, meet the staff, and learn exciting details about the "First Annual Michael Scott Paper Company Pancake Luncheon" (I'd tell you not to miss it, but it's already taken place, as evidenced by the Testimonials). Oh yeah, and you can also shop online, but there's no paper listed. Just a mug and a t-shirt. Someone order something and report back.
And in my inbox this week were a couple of deleted scenes from this week's episode. Check them out below, and watch more deleted scenes here:

I'm surprised that the MSPC could even get a website running, seeing how well their business is running.

Ironic how their shop doesn't actually sell paper.
