As if a lot of TV viewers didn't already have enough ammunition against CNBC, they accidentally provided more yesterday afternoon.During coverage of a live interview with Larry Summers, the financial network has to cut away because of video and audio problems. Just as they went back to the studio and anchor Bill Griffeth, a notable toilet flush could be heard. It wasn't just something that TV viewers heard, Griffeth stopped in mid-sentence and looked off-camera to figure out just what the heck was going on. Looks like someone who works there and had a mic on forgot to shut it off when they went to the restroom. It's been a weird year or so for CNBC. First the arguments and the odd interviews, now this.
It's not the first time a toilet antics have been caught on tape. A couple of years ago CNN's Kyra Phillips was caught saying some unkind things about her sister-in-law. Maybe there should be some sort of automatic shut off for these clip-on mics.

Since CNBC doesn't get mentioned much - I'd like to take a moment to mention a few things no one will read.
Becky Quick is probably the best interviewer on the network and has nice gams to boot.
Erin Burnett is inconsistent but nice to look at...
Mark Haines eats during commercial breaks and is sometimes still chewing when the come back from commercial...just sayin'
Larry Kudlow is a raging bull (which is nice) but he's a broken record repeating the same dogma endlessly - must we hear about mustard seeds every two minutes?
Melissa Francis is Larry's parrot as far as I can tell.
Trish Regan is adorable - no matter what she's saying I'm always thinking 'how cute is that nose"...
Dennis Kneale is without a doubt, a special kind of moron - an somewhere deep down...he knows it too.
Michelle Caruso is best described as "nails on a chalkboard" she difficult to watch - she is needlessly loud and aggressive.
Maria Bartiromo - she's earned her spot, does good work, but I don't miss her much when she's gone.
Dylan Ratigan - just left the network to jump to ABC. Intelligent, thoughtful and charming and is missed. Where he got the gray hair at 36 is anyone's guess. I thought he was in his mid-fifties.
Fast Money traders - good group, better analysis than any other show. These folks make their living on getting it right and the spin and overall BS level is low.
Jim Cramer - well he tries. The list of complaints would be long - but I do believe his intentions are basically good - just don't buy the stocks he picks.
CNBC often panders to the upper 2% of the income bracket - even though their average viewer makes below six figures. Defending the reason CEO pay is 262x the average worker is questionable, even for the most pro free market investor.

I don't think he's eating so much as either sucking on a candy or a button, in order to keep his mouth wet.
Kudlow has proven himself to be a brainless parrot. Loud and aggressive, worse than Michelle Caruso.
Cramer has turned into an entertainer, with no real redeeming characteristics. He's just been flat out wrong too many times for me to take him up on specific advice. I may read his books, they sound like they should be worth it.
Joe Kernen acts dumber than he should. At least I hope it's an act (He's an MIT Masters graduate, I sure hope so). He's the one that always gets the look of deer in the headlights.
