Remember a couple of weeks when we told you that Lost producers Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse and ABC were holding a contest for fans of the show to give the season finale a quirky name? Every season finale of the show has gone by a code name: season one had "The Bagel" and last season was "The Rattlesnake in the Mailbox." What will this season's finale be called? The winner has been revealed and it's ... "The Fork in the Outlet." Who knows if this will be literal (after all, what the heck does "The Bagel" have to do with the season one finale?), but I think we're in for something "shocking." I've never put a utensil in an electrical outlet before, but I did touch a light switch with wet hands once and got a jolt. Never again.
I kinda like some of the entries that didn't win, especially "The Droids You're Looking For," and "The Fifth Toe." Maybe they should have named it "Scotty, Beam Me Up," to tie in with J.J. Abrams' new Star Trek flick, also in May.

"season one had "The Bagel" and last season was "The Rattlesnake in the Mailbox.""
Last season was actually "The Frozen Donkey Wheel".
Season three was the one with the rattlesnake, and i think Season Two was like Season One in that it was some kind of bread product.

Season 2's was "The Challah" fyi, 3 was indeed the "Rattlesnake..." and 4 was the "Frozen Donkey Wheel".
Remember, they're just fun code names. In 5-ish weeks we look to a fellow Lostie and say "How about the fork in the outlet?" and start sharing theories, while less-devoted viewers and others will just be confused. Better than saying, "How about the final scene of the Lost finale last night?" in my opinion.
I'm sure the final scene will be just as shocking whether TFitO won or if it were "The Joop", "The Twinkie" or any of the other finalists.

When I was in 5th or 6th grade, I took a lamp that I had, and cut off the cord, so that all that was left was the fork and a few inches of the cord. Now, I was curious, what would happen if I stuck that into the outlet. So, I stuck it in, but I was not thinking it through, because when I stuck it in, the few inches of cord left, and the exposed part were being pushed by my palm. Needless to say, I got a nice jolt and some small electrical burn marks on my palm. No new powers though.
