I knew that television executives were insane, but I didn't know they would go this far. They're letting right-wing gun advocate rocker Ted Nugent host his own reality television show. In that show, he will train a group of volunteers on how to survive in the wild and then he, along with his 18-year-old son, will hunt them down like dogs.Wow. Just...wow. Is this legal? I expect that there will be no actual firearms used in the hunting of people, but with Ted Nugent it's hard to be sure. Two of the people behind this show are the same who brought us the two recent Scott Baio reality programs. They are Eric Bischoff, who used to run World Championship Wrestling, and Jason Hervey, who played Fred Savage's older brother on The Wonder Years. They seem appropriate for a show about twisted sport as shared amongst family members.
The show will air in August. I would watch it just to see if Nugent kills someone.

I despise Ted Nugent (even being an old-school rock fan) but this kinda sounds like real-life Counter Strike and might be interesting.

There was a show on Discovery for a brief while about a ranger or tracker who would "track" down fugitives (actors) on the run. It was a test each time to see if this famous tracker could find the man/guys running across the western terrains and he did it on horseback. I'm pretty sure it's not illegal if no one dies. Sounds like the kind of stuff I did as a kid, in fact, with all my friends.
I share Pingles dislike of the Nuge, but I might have to see this one just for the nostalgic flash backs to my youth that may occur.

Umm...did you never watch "Surviving Nugent" on VH1? At one point he set his contestants off in a field and hunted them with a net gun from a helicopter.

Love the idea!
But what I'm really curious about is why is it that its only the "right-wing" guys that are identified? On this site and face it just about everywhere you rarely see "left-wing" but every time someone on the right is mentioned they are clearly labeled. Is it that it's too taxing to note all the liberals? (now theres a pun) Maybe.
How about "left-wing drug advocate Aaron Sorkin brings a drama about a liberal president"? Or "socialist and noted Palin hater John Stewart reads you the Obama talking points of the day"?

Nice one Trechak :(
Here's my take...Uncle Ted is only preparing other right-wing gun advocates for the inevitable attempt of the left-wing socialist nazi's to take away all of our freedom to speak, create, and make money our own way...and our semi-auto and automatic predator tools. Oh, and I sure the bow-hunters will be next!
