Other than injuries plaguing most of the contestants, there are a few issues still making the celebrity dancing competition complicated on Dancing with the Stars. I love the fact that Denise is confused that she was eliminated. It's not like she was even top tier of dancers (Shawn, Gilles, Melissa, and Lil Kym), or even the middle pack (David, Ty, Lawrence, and Chuck). She was in the bottom heat with Steve-O, the Woz, and Holly. If I were the other three, I'd practice hard and hope I wasn't double eliminated. Also, as a minor update, along with the opening credits finally being used, the pictures of Holly and Melissa have been update to match the rest of the contestants on the official website. No longer the really bad Photoshop job plaguing the contestant's page. It doesn't exactly match the other contestant's photos, but it's better than nothing. More news after the jump.
Shawn Johnson's stalker has been charged. - Now that's creepy, having a stalker that's twice your age. Robert O'Ryan, 34, was charged with felony stalking after he was arrested trying to jump a CBS studio fence. Hopefully Shawn Johnson isn't frazzled by these events, probably because she is being paid well.
Add Holly to the list of injured - Although it isn't a broken rib, Holly is being given pain medication for pains. This doesn't sound as bad as back trouble or foot injures, but that doesn't mean that Holly should push herself too hard. Hopefully her Argentine Tango will go well even with the pain.
Ty Murray Wants Kids – Two, specifically one boy and one girl. He then wants a white picket fence and a dog. How all-American can Jewel & Ty Murray get? Also, the article mentions that Ty will be performing the Lindy Hop with Chelsie next week. He also believes that dancing is just like bull riding: he could only control his movements.
The Woz is using technology to gain fans? – Who would have thought? The website VoteWoz.com has more than 70,000 followers. To make it better, his Facebook group is growing as well. Now that's Social Media at it's greatest.
There's no backstage drama- Well, unless you count when Maks hogs the mirror. Maks also was stated saying how Melissa was a dancer and finds it unfair. He's probably sour because Maks got a bad celebrity draw this season. Spice girl, Mel B, could be considered well coordinated and with the ability to feel the rhythm. Maks got lucky with that. Melissa is denying the drama of course saying that everything is rainbows and unicorns.
Nancy O'Dell is recovering – Who? Oh right, the person Tony got before Melissa. The Access Hollywood correspondent has gotten her knee surgery and is on the road to recovery. She is hoping to compete in another season. Maybe she could compete against Donnie Osmond.

The show has always had people with dance training, guys as well as girls - how many boy-band members have been on the show? Maks is right that it's not fair, and it drastically skews the competition. But it would also be impossible to say to has that unfair advantage. How about all the athletes, with better strength, endurance and flexibility than your average tv star? Do they have an unfair advantage? If you cut out everything that could be considered an unfair advantage you end up with the Harrison Bergeron(*) version of the show, where everybody looks like Woz, Jerry Springer, Kenny Mayne and Master P.
(*) No relation to Tom.

Seriously... why the cheap shots at Ty & Jewel? Having spent enough time around him and the sport of bull riding, yes that really IS the way Ty is. He's as all-American and real as you can get. He's a cowboy who happens to be famous, not a celebrity who happens to be a cowboy ... and he wouldn't want it any other way.
Just because he & Jewel want that kind of normalcy ... marriage, kids ... and so many other values that so many "celebrities" seem to have lost, don't take cheap shots. It's so beneath you, and he doesn't deserve it.

What I find funny is that Melissa is not a "star", and she has dance background, sounds like she's on the wrong side of a pairing.
