Michael Ausiello is the harbinger of death.OK, to be more specific, he's the guy to go to if you want to know how many people are going to die at the end of the season on your favorite show. He's not naming any names (if he knows them), but we can probably make some sort of guess for each one.
We've already discussed the death coming up on Heroes, but now it looks like three people are going to die on the show. Two of them will stay dead, and one is a fake out. I would guess that Danko is one of the people who is going to die (I don't see Zeljko Ivanek coming back to the show next season), but I'm not sure who the other one will be. I'm sure Tracy is involved, though I'm not sure if she will stay dead, come back to life, or split into another personality or whatever.
The numbers for the other shows? Chuck: 1 (and it's supposed to be shocking - probably not Chuck himself or they'll have to change the name of the show), Law and Order: SVU: 1, Ugly Betty: 1, Big Love: 1, Supernatural: 1, Lost: 2, Ghost Whisperer: 1, Prison Break: 2, 24: 2, Smallville: 2, CSI: NY: 1, and Desperate Housewives: 1.

That would be way too heavy for Chuck...he'd be depressed the rest of the series. I'm thinking Big Mike has a heart attack and Chuck is made manager of the Buy More.

If it's going to be as huge a death as they say, it has to be either Morgan or Ellie. I give it 65/35 that it's Ellie. Lose Morgan, and the whole BuyMore cover is no longer relevant to the story. The family story needs to evolve, for Chuck to feel the stakes.

For Chuck I think it would probably be Morgan but there could be an outside chance that it's Casey. It won't be Sarah and it won't be Chuck and any of the other supporting cast wouldn't have a huge impact with the exception of Ellie or maybe Awesome

On Chuck, its either "shocking" that Chuck kills Jill, or maybe Bryce comes back and dies. Other than that, I don't see it - no way its Casey, Sarah, or Ellie. Maybe Big Mike.

In Chuck, I can't see them killing off any of the main cast (that is everyone in the opening credits including Anna, Big Mike and Lester), as it's a lightly oriented show. Maybe the general or perhaps Chuck's (yet to be seen) father. Or Cole, but his character already left the show.
As far as 24 is concerned ... well, it could be ANYBODY (save for Jack, of course), but I'd bet on Larry, Tony, Aaron or maybe Henry. I'm sure Kim will meet a gruesome end too, but possibly not this season, much more likely in the final one. You know, that last push that throws Bauer over the edge ...

Big Love was confirmed as renewed for a fourth season back in February. There is no way the show can exist without Bill so I see it as highly unlikely that he will die.

Bryce wouldn't be "shocking". I think it'll be Awesome. Ellie and Morgan are the ones Chuck has to protect, and it'll be upped more if Ellie is without Awesome.
