The CW recently announced that Tyra Banks is looking for a short Top Model. Cycle 13 is casting women between the ages of 18 and 27 and below the height requirement of 5'7. Excuse me? I understand that people like Kate Moss (or even previous winner Eva) were shorter than 5'7, but I've learned from fashion friends and television that clothes just look better on someone taller.
If Tyra really wants real models, take a tip from other shows: drop the competing age to 16 like American Idol. Tyra herself started modeling at 15, why not give girls with real potential a shot? What do you think should be the next draw for ratings?

I agree.why?well i am 16 years old, all my life modeling has been my dream ever since i found out about americas next top model i always watched it.Tyra is my role model.I have learned many things watching her shows and it even got me into trying it out.i started modeling in Barbizon of Harrisburg Pennsylvania in 2008.Everything was going great,i was half way through the classes.I was two weeks from graduation,i was so happy that my dream was really turning to reality.it came to a point that i had to stop taking the classes because money became an issue.I promise that if Tyra accepts girls of the age of 16.I will be one of those girls.

There are many young girls who dream of doing this People aspire me to join or do modeling everyday but my height is 5 6' and i thought i would never be able to join, but now that you have this i believe in myself Tyra i think i can do it. I tried out for Ms Black USA but i didn't have the money to join like the other female said I also tried out for Barbizon and made a promise to myself i would get a job and help myself out with the money, but i though that was to much for a 15 year old...i watch Americas Next Top model whenever i get a chance to i love that show so much n Make me a Supermodel...hehe*.....n im glad about the transgender that's on season 12.
