Yep, I got a Twitter. It's part of my plan to plaster the Internet with links to my must-read blog posts about '90s indie rock and that handsome bastard Neil Patrick Harris (don't ask). Fortunately for you, some clever TV stars also use Twitter for fun and shameless self-promotion.

Here are ten fan-friendly TV celebs worth stalking on Twitter. Unlike that fake Stephen Colbert, these guys are all one-hundred percent, real-life paparazzo magnets.

1. John Hodgman
Your kid sister probably knows Hodgman as the "I'm a PC" Guy from those Apple commercials. You, of course, know him by his tour-de-force performance as "Fertility Specialist" in Baby Mama. Hodgman's non-stop smart-alecky tweets, and his online conversations with fellow Tweeter "Twitterkins" (Best Week Ever's Paul F. Tompkins), remind me of his great Daily Show appearances. Hodgman's Twitter page is also the best place to find other funny web-friendly comics to follow.

2. Wil Wheaton
Former Squadder and Star Trek: The Next Generation star Wheaton seems to have conquered every cool corner of the web. He's turned his minor celeb status into full-blown Internet stardom with funny and personal blog posts about pop culture, geek conventions, technology and life on the starship Enterprise. It's no surprise that he's a king on Twitter, where he makes the nerds swoon with tweets about writing, acting, and life as a geekdad.

3. Stephen Fry
The British actor, author and Twitterholic is a must-follow who cleverly interacts with his online fans. Fry, who once played Oscar Wilde in a movie, recently inspired his followers to make up phony Wilde quotes to post on the web. (Check out the results.) Following Fry is like having a brilliant buddy who makes you feel ashamed of yourself for reading tabloid journalism and wolfing down Quarter Pounders every day. Or maybe that's just me.

4. Felicia Day
The Dr. Horrible actress has a huge Twitter fan base (more than 18,000 followers so far). Following Day on Twitter means getting behind-the-scenes info about her web series, The Guild, plus tweets about gaming and technology. Day also offers a few web video-making tips. These are great, since she doesn't hail from the Chris Crocker school of suck. Not bad for a potential slayer.

5. Greg Grunberg
A must-follow for die-hard Heroes fans (all seven of you who are left). Grunny has yet to tweet about his show's slip in quality, but the dude makes good with the behind-the-scenes info and silly photos featuring his Heroes cast mates. (This one was passed around the TV Squad office last week). He's also the celeb most likely to answer direct messages from fans and comment on fan podcasts.

6. Brea Grant
If you could buy a box of "Follow Greg Grunberg" at the supermarket, they'd probably toss in a bag of Brea Grant's tweets for free. The spunky speedster from Heroes uses the site to interact with fans and famous friends almost every day. Like Grunberg, she also posts pictures from the set and her travels.

7. Penn Jillette
Twitter was made for outspoken and opinionated dudes like Penn Jillette, the talking half of Penn & Teller. Refreshingly, Jillette mostly offers funny personal tweets about his kids, concerts, and movies instead of calling "Bullsh*t!" on society's stupider innovations (he saves that for his show). Now, if he would only tweet about playing Drell, the warlock on Sabrina, The Teenage Witch, then he'd be at the top of this list.

8. John Cleese
Yes, it's The Real John Cleese. And yes, he makes the Internet funnier every day with his tweets. The Monty Python legend's Twitter account is a gateway to his many other web projects, including an odd "Headcast," a podcast and random videos shot at his country house.

9. David Hewlett
Luckily, Hewlett is nowhere near as arrogant as Dr. Rodney McKay, the character he plays on Stargate Atlantis. Judging by his daily tweets, the self-proclaimed "all around geek" is a loveable, self-deprecating sci-fi star who likes keeping his fans updated on everything he does. Read about his trip to the UK, his post-Atlantis life, and his nights partying with that pimp, Bill Nye the Science Guy.

10. The Karate Kid's Sensei John Kreese (aka Paul Scheer)
The only '80s movie baddie who could karate-kick the crap out of Freddy Krueger -- except for Jason -- is alive and well on Twitter. I have it on good authority (i.e. the Internet) that Human Giant prankster Paul Scheer might be behind this Karate Kid character's virtual poetry. Sample tweet: "Today I'm going to make my knuckles bleed, what are you going to do?"
