Question: if you were famous - not just well-known to a small but loyal fan following, I'm talking real mainstream fame - would you sign a bunch of autographs? Let's say you worked every day filming and at the end of the day you just wanted to go home or go out to dinner but you were ambushed by 50 people who all wanted their photo/book/stomachs signed. Would you stop and do it? I think I'd be a good signer. I wouldn't go crazy. There would be a normal limit to what I would stand there and sign, but I'd be nice to fans.I was thinking about that after reading this story about the best and worst celebrity signers. It's ranked by Autograph magazine, and they say that the best celebrity autographer is Jay Leno.
This doesn't surprise me, really, since he's known to be obsessed with pleasing everyone. Other celebs who are great with putting pen to paper are George Clooney, Matt Damon, and Rosario Dawson.
The people who don't like to sign autographs? Boston Legal star William Shatner, Step Brothers Will Ferrell and John C. Reilly, and Gwyneth Paltrow. But to be fair, Shatner is probably approached by a lot of people dressed as Klingons.

Seriously? Maybe he's just a nice person. Your hatred of Leno is really annoying. I don't like him either but I don't have to make stupid comments about him everytime his name is mentioned. Give it up, Bob.

everyone knows Leno is the hardest working guy in Hollywood, and apparently, he's a nice guy too.
"She's probably the snootiest of signers on this list, Paltrow will try to ignore everyone as she walks by, or she'll just point-blank tell you in her condescending tone, 'I do not sign autographs.'"
- sometimes, it's amazing how some celeb act exactly the way you imagine they would and you thank god for Kathy Griffin for making fun of them.

Ya, how dare these a$$hole celebrities not take the time to sign a bunch of autographs for you to sell on eBay. Selfish jerks.
