"What's this stuff?""Some TV show...supposed to be good for ya."
"Did you try it?"
"I'm not gonna try it, you try it."
"I'm not gonna try it."
"Hey, let's get Mikey..."
"Yeah."
"He won't watch it...he hates everything!"
We give a lot of depressing news here at TV Squad. News about shows being canceled, shows put on hiatus, shows delayed, episode orders on shows cut, shows moved to a bad time slot, characters killed off of shows, etc. So it's good when we actually have some good news about a show, especially one that isn't a huge hit.
NBC has given a full season order to Life, the quirky detective show that seems to be on a different night each week. It started the season on Mondays at 10, and we've seen it on both Fridays and Wednesdays. But the Peacock Network seems to have faith in the show and wants a full 22 from Charlie Crews and crew.
This is good news. One, the show isn't a reality show. And two, it's a good show.

YES! I love this show and it's definitely getting better and better with each episode and it's one of the only shows I'm not bored at this season. And since I'm dumping Lost, Grey's Anatomy and Ugly Betty because ABC is stupid (read: firing Grey's Anatomy's Brooke Smith was a bad move), I need something good to watch and Life is it so this is great news!

Yes! This and Terminator TSCC are my two favorite new shows from last season and the two I was almost certain would be cancelled. This is fantastic news. Now they just need to put keep it on the same night, and please don't put it on opposite House, that will really piss me off.

I trust my peers on TVSquad, therefore I'm going to watch the first episode of Life right now. Then back to my studying. Ugh.

Hope you enjoy it, I don't watch other crime dramas, but this show is a huge treat with great acting and story-telling.

Aaaaaand I enjoyed it very much! To be honest I accidentally caught the middle of a second season episode a few weeks ago, a very dramatic scene where the main character's brakes were caught and the "cops" in the car ahead were actually bad guys. I was going to check this show out regardless but having seen that part I decided it had to be sooner rather than later.
I'm going to watch the first season and second until I catch up, but I'll take my time doing it, secure in the knowledge there will be a season 3. Also, and I have to say this because it was one of the reasons why this show as on my radar: here's hoping there's more of Shahi cleaning drugs off of her.

Been months since I've posted here, but this is just the kind of news that would drag me back into the "art" of commenting.
Fantastic news. This is one of the underrated shows on TV that keeps getting moved around (Wednesday, Friday [aka: the death sentence], back to Wednesday), yet somehow continues to hang on for dear...Life...
Yes, I went there. Now we need a renewal for Pushing Daisies!

This is great, NOW JUST LEAVE IT ON AT THE SAME TIME EACH WEEK. I've missed two or three episodes this season because it's bouncing everywhere.

Great news. Read the title. Checked the author. Skipped the post.
Life should've gotten a full season order much earlier.
Now bring back Journeyman.

Yes, very good news. Damian Lewis is a very interesting actor. (LOVED him in Band of Brothers.) Life is also an excellent tv series. Yeah for NBC and for Life!

Life is a great show. Glad NBC is keeping it around for a full season.
Now they need to keep in one time slot so I don't have to search for it.

I thought first season was way better but it still beats most of the dreck on network TV these days. I'm happy to see it get a full season, maybe now NBC can pick a schedule for this show that lasts more than 2 weeks.
