Felicity Huffman and Doug Savant are on plenty of DVRs via Desperate Housewives, but did you ever wonder what's on their DVRs? You might be surprised! Huffman has goofier programs than I would have expected.
We've got the exclusive video scoop for you after the cut, when Huffman and Savant sat down and interviewed each other, based on questions submitted by TV Squad readers for AOL's video interview feature, Outside the Box.
I'm not totally sure how I feel about Desperate Housewives so far this season. I was hoping the five-year jump would breathe some fresh life into the show, but so far, it hasn't. All we've got is more of the same, only the Wisteria Lane residents seem more boring than usual.
Hopefully, all that will change with the introduction of three hot new players in last week's episode -- Lily Tomlin as Mrs. McCluskey's snarky sister, Frances Conroy as Carlos' horny older-woman massage client, and Gail O'Grady as a cougar preying on Lynette and Tom's son, Porter. I have high hopes!
And so do Huffman and Savant. Check out this exclusive clip, where they riff off each others' DVR choices. And for more of these two (including Savant's thoughts on "death by sex"!), check out AOL TV's Outside the Box right here. These two might be having marriage troubles on the show, but in real life, they have great rapport. Fun!

I almost want to watch Desperate Housewives to see Lily Tomlin on there, but I don't think I have the time (or the patience for Susan).

Hi Jane-(love your gecko), Actually, my wife has kind of shamed me into watching DH since it's inception, and I must say: The 5 yr jump has added a very FRESH dose of fun! We enjoy the "new" story lines and it was certainly cool to finally get some decent flashbacks recently. The latest twists have caught my attention, and convinced me that more series might need to consider the drastic "5 yr leap" to stay alive. Thanks for sharing the DVR habits of the observed! Oh- and Lily- Rock on!

Izikavazo - Yeah, Susan wears on me.
Wes - Thanks! See ya on the Gecko. :-) I think you're onto something with other shows following suit on the 5-year jump. "House" might be a good one for that (I predict he'd be a hermit living in the woods).
