Warning: what follows might be a little NSFW (yet really funny).
We review a lot of shows here at TV Squad, and the writers and readers often pick out something in the show that we don't like (even if we love the show in general). So what if the title cards/logos of each show actually told the truth, letting you know what the show is like even before you watch it?
Well, as you can see from the Heroes title card above, we find out that nobody ever dies on the show (or at the least, if they do they can come back to life). This is one of the things wrong with the show, even if I still love it. If no one ever really dies then where's the risk?
After the jump, some more logos from your favorite show that tell the truth. I especially like the one for Mad Men. Someone should make a t-shirt with that on it.

"WTF has happen to this site?" That should be your title card of truth because this place sure ain't about blogging about TV shows any more. :-(

I think the Heroes one should be:
"Someone dies anticlimactically every episode"

Regarding Heroes, didn't the artist, Simone and her father die (&, you know, stay that way)? Also, what about Nicky's husband? I haven't watched the show in awhile, but I'm assuming they're all still sucking earth -

I think the point is that not enough of them die. Although you could think of Suresh as dead, since he has been acting completely out of character ever since he got his power.

Not enough of them... are you kidding me? Except for the premiere, a recurring character has died every single episode this season. Do you mean main characters? So far Issac, Simone, Nikki, D.L., and Adam have all died after their storyline faltered slightly. No, the real problem is that the posterboys/girls (Claire, Peter, Hiro, Mohinder, Nathan, and now especially SYLAR) are untouchable while the few characters with actual potential are often written off to make the writers' job easier.

The only one that has died relatively recently is Adam (Nikki's sister is pretty much a carbon copy of Nikki), and since he was brought back basically just to die, he barely counts.
The real problem is that there are too many characters on this show (if the show could juggle the various storylines better, it would be different, but Heroes sucks at juggling).

Yeah, I know, it just seems like with the exception of maybe Isaac all of the main cast deaths have been handled poorly. Now they just seem to be killing off all of the characters from the second season in an effort to rectify their mistakes in that season. Right now, literally the only 2nd season characters still in the storyline are Maya and Elle, and with Maya leaving and Elle walking into the hands of Pinehearst I doubt they'll be around very much longer. And that's the problem. They haven't changed the problems with Season 2 that needed changing, such as the extremely vague future of doom, the weird character arcs, and most of all the horrendous dialogue. I liked a lot of the Season 2 characters. I liked Bob, I liked Maury, I liked Adam, I liked Monica, hell, I even liked Maya towards the end. Idk. I'm done whining now.

The slowly unfolding train wreck paradigm is pretty much the only reason I watch Heroes nowadays. You know, it is horribly to watch a train wreck, but prurient interest in death and destruction means many people can't tear their eyes away.
I wonder from week to week, what character will go completely against their nature, what character will be whisked away, etc.
