Remember all of the interest over the summer about whether or not FOX was going to keep The Sarah Connor Chronicles or cancel it after one season like they do with so many fan favorites? Well, how come you're not watching the show? There are reports swirling around that the network is going to cancel the Monday night show because of bad ratings, ratings that worse than FOX expected. The show is averaging a 4.1/6, which means it's down 34% from last year. Even the 18-49 demo loved by networks and advertisers aren't watching the show. When the
I have to admit I've drifted away from the show. There are just too many shows to watch and towards the end of the first season I sort of decided to not want to follow this story anymore (same thing is happening with Fringe). Anyone else there stop watching this show after the first season?

Well, my wife and I still watch the show. Of course, we record it and watch it later. Monday night there are just WAY too many shows on TV to watch anything live.

I watch it, I like it.. but it annoys me greatly that now all the lead characters are mopey emo types. It's hard to believe that Sarah and John are fighting the future when they're acting like the big fight of their lives is to crawl out of bed in the morning.

i have the same reaction, lol, but I'm not surprised. the first season's rating wasn't that good to begin with, and it's on Fox, and every single premieres this season on every networks have seen drop in ratings.
There's simply too many shows in that time slot, Fox should either move the show to another time, or at least consider those who record the show. I hope the writers have a good plan B just in case though...sigh.

My husband's a fan, but he had to choose between this and Chuck on Monday, I know he watched Chuck. I hate when networks put all their similar shows in the same time slots, then other nights there's nothing to watch at all.

I've watched every episode faithfully. I love this show! However, I DVR'd this week's episode in favor of watching the season premiere of Chuck.
I just think that no show stands a chance when up against the juggernaut that is Dancing With the Stars. It's a damn shame that two shows (DWTS & AI) have come to dominate television so much that no other show is given a chance to provide alternative tv to those of us who need it.

I agree. Two shows people just watch like crazy. Both are reality shows. But yet a really good show like Terminator: TSCC comes on, and ratings tank. Is it just me, or are good shows like this just too smart for the masses? I hope not.
I love this show and it's one of the few I watch.

My son and I watch it, but this past week's ep was lame. This is supposed to be about fighting and robots and the future, but you turn your strong female lead into a ...literal...babysitter? And, spend time with the main robot having brain farts? Lame.

Sorry to say but yeah this show has fallen by the wayside for me...between Chuck, HIMYM/Big Bang and Football I can't even record it...too bad, since it originally had my interest - maybe Fox can move it to a different night where it doesn't have to compete with so many other quality shows.

I watch it online the next day. There are too many shows aimed at the same demographic on Monday night, and now they have to battle Monday Night Football during the Fall. Move it to Wednesdays at 9PM after Bones where it's competition is Private Practice, Deal or No Deal, and Criminal Minds.

I still watch it, but lump me in the "too many shows I watch on Mondays" camp. At last count there were 8 shows I watch all airing on Monday. When networks do this, we the viewers lose.
While I still watch TSCC, my wife noted that the story is moving along really slow. She commented that it seems like almost the same thing happens each week and nothing much is done to advance the overall storyline. They need to pick up the pace, if it's not too late already.

The interesting thing is that "Chuck"'s ratings were down substantially for the premiere, putting it at risk of cancellation as well. I watched one and recorded the other, but most people seem to be watching Dancing with the Has-Beens and whichever of CBS' lame sitcoms are on. Looks like my Monday 8:00PM may be free soon.

I doubt Chuck is in any danger. NBC actually ordered a full season about a month ago after seeing the first few episodes. They have great faith in the show.

I watch the show and I've watched every episode when it's been aired on Mondays. I think this show would do fine if it was on a different night, like maybe Wednesday. I catch the other Monday shows like Chuck and Heroes once they've been posted to the networks website.

I still watch. I mostly DVR it and watch it later. I will admit I lost interest after the first 2 episodes in the first season, but def made sure I watch the rebroadcast in time for season 2.

The first 4 episodes of season 2 have been far better than the equivalents from season 1. It's worth watching for Summer Glau's quirky performance alone. As a British fan, it's very disappointing when half-decent shows like T:TSCC die because the native audience isn't watching. So, I urge everyone to watch it -- it's far better than a Terminator TV series had any right to be.
