Stephen Colbert is my hero. And now it's like he's a superhero -- or a good friend of a superhero, and isn't that close enough? The L.A. Times reports that Colbert joins Spider-Man in an upcoming story arc in the Amazing Spider-man.
He's already been featured in Marvel comics; his short presidential run was referenced in some of their books (and how much better a Prez would Colbert be than the present Commander-in-Chief, btw?). I gotta say, though, that as much as I love Colbert (and I really, really do), I don't think this is going to entice me to go out and buy the comic book. But I'm glad that Stephen's getting the added exposure. Hey, Marvel -- if you really want me to buy your books, I've got two words for you: Tek Jansen.

There already is a Tek Jansen comic, published by Oni Press (http://www.onipress.com/display.php?type=se&id=29).

There's a difference between a comic and a character in a comic.
Go away. I want Annie back.
