Emmy award11:00: OK, that's it for me tonight. Things have turned bold for some reason and I'm hungry. I haven't eaten since...well, I had a handful of almonds around 5:30, along with a Diet Coke, but that's it. Check out more Emmys on AOL, with a full list of winners, behind the scenes info, interviews, and a ton of pictures.

10:57: Outstanding Drama, Mad Men. Yes!!!!!

10:56:
Tom Selleck delivering the Drama award? Random, but welcome.

10:55:
Two years in a row for 30 Rock. Does this mean great ratings? (Probably not.)

10:54:
Outstanding Comedy Series: 30 Rock.

10:53:
Mary Tyler Moore: attractive woman, really bad dress.

10:50:
...and the Emmy goes to Jeff Probst (Survivor).

10:45:
Outstanding Host, Reality Show is...after this commercial. Kimmel is becoming the MVP of award shows and specials.

10:41:
Outstanding Lead Actress, Comedy: Tina Fey (30 Rock).

10:38:
Outstanding Lead Actor, Drama: Bryan Cranston (Breaking Bad)!

10:36:
The Fey/Scorcese American Express ad is great...but not when you see it 30 times in one night.

10:34:
In case you're wondering, I still haven't eaten anything yet.

10:32:
Impressed they're including some producers and other behind the scenes folks.

10:30:
Ah, the annual "In Memoriam." The time of the show we try to figure out who they'll leave out.

10:28: Outstanding Lead Actress, Drama: Glenn Close (Damages).

10:26: Outstanding Lead Actor, Comedy: Alec Baldwin (30 Rock). Has he always been lead? I thought he was supporting at one point.

Outstanding Director, Drama: Greg Yaitanes.

10:13:
Outstanding Guest Actor/Actress in a Drama: Glynn Thurman (In Treatment) and Cynthia Nixon (Law and Order: SVU).

10:10:
Individual Achievement in a Variety or Musical Program: Don Rickles.

10:08: Another bit cut, thanks to Howie Mandel?

10:06: Don't forget more Emmys on AOL TV, including pictures and interviews with the stars.

10:05:
Outstanding Miniseries: John Adams (duh).

10:00:
Outstanding Reality Competition Show: The Amazing Race (for the sixth time).

10.00:
Looks like the rest of the blog is going to be in bold for some bizarre blog reason.

9:56:
Outstanding Supporting Actress, Miniseries/Movie: Eileen Andrews (Masterpiece Theatre).

9:50:
Ellus cut off with the phrase "They Use Words..."

9:47:
Outstanding Writing, Miniseries/Movie, or Dramatic Special: Kirk Ellus (John Adams).

9:46: Outstanding Direction, Miniseries/Movie, or Dramatic Special: Jay Roach (Recount).

9:44: Supporting Actor, Miniseries/Movie, or Special: Tom Wilkison wins for John Adams.

9:42:
For a second there I thought they were going to have a Dragnet reunion. Though that would have been better than Probst in a private eye office (um, Joe Friday wasn't a private eye).

9:39:
I have to get up to walk around a bit. BRB.

9:37:
Outstanding Made For TV Movie: Recount.

9:34:
"We are dedicated to bringing you a year of television...unless there's a actors strike."

9:32:
The West Wing: that's the worst recreation of a show set I've seen since...well, the Seinfeld set from eariler in the show.

9:25:
Outstanding Writing, Comedy: Tina Fey (30 Rock).

9:23:
"Love TV, Fear the Internet." That could never be the slogan of TV Squad.

9:22:
Oustanding Direction, Comedy: Barry Sonnenfeld (Pushing Daisies).

9:21:
Kathyrn Joosten! Sounding irritated they cut her bit.

9:20:
Heidi Klum just called David Boreanaz's show The Bones.

9:18:
Outstanding Comedy, Musical, or Variety: The Daily Show.

9:16:
I think 47% of the audience watching this has no idea what's going on with this Laugh-In bit.

9:14:
Um, is that Gary Owens? Doesn't seem like he's aged since 1968.

9:08:
Oustanding Lead Actress, Minseries/Movie: Laura Linney (John Adams).

9:03:
Huh. I didn't realize Josh Groban could pull something like this off.

8:58:
Is that a Laugh-In reunion coming up? Aren't the hosts dead?

8:49:
Don't forget more Emmys on AOL TV.

8:46:
Oustanding Writing, Variety, Musical, or Comedy: The Colbert Report.

8:45:
Just realized it's "Outstanding" not "Best" in these awards.

8:43:
Best Supporting Actress, Drama: Dianne Wiest (In Treatment).

8:42:
Oooooo, dig at Katherine Heigl by Conan.

8:35:
Directing, Variety, Musical, or Comedy: Louis J. Horvitz, 80th Annual Academy Awards. He's directing right now.

8:29:
Best Supporting Actor, Drama: Zeljko Ivanek (Damages)! I think a lot of people just lost their Emmy pools. I would have loved to see John Slattery win, but also great to see a veteran guy like Ivanek get it.

8:27:
God, these hosts are truly, truly bad together.

8:26:
I'm going to have to try to squeeze in dinner here at some point. When's the big dance number?

8:22:
I've been told by one of our alert viewers that it was Rock 'n Roll Jeopardy that Probst hosted. I stand corrected. Maybe this show didn't have plumbing?

8:20:
Best Supporting Actress, Comedy: Jean Smart (Samantha Who?)

8:18:
Wow, uncanny recreation of the Seinfeld set. I feel like I'm, um, really at Monk's. Cough.

8:13:
Excellent commercial for Macy's, with clips from classic TV shows and movies. Nice.

8:12:
First Award - Best Supporting Actor, Comedy: Jeremy Piven (Entourage)! Not sure if he deserves it this year, but awesome joke about the opening!

8:10:
Yeah, that has to be up there on the list of worst Emmy openings ever. Snow White at the Oscars bad.

8:08:
"Probst has never hosted a show that has indoor plumbing." Actually, he hosted Celebrity Jeopardy years ago, which was done in a studio that I'm going to assume had restrooms.

8:07:
The five hosts keep saying "it's not a bit" that they don't have anything planned or on the teleprompter. But isn't that a bit itself?

8:06:
First political joke, from Howie. Still not funny.

8:05:
Oprah opens the show. Bad joke from Seacrest. No laughs yet.

7:56:
Almost time for the switch over to ABC...

7:45:
Bryan Cranston looks like he's made up for the Terry O'Quinn Lookalike Contest.

7:42:
Don't forget more Emmys on AOL TV.

7:37:
Brad Garrett just said he met his date at Sarah Palin's vibrator party. Um, wow. (Also a good name for a band.)

7:34:
The dress color this year seems to be bright yellow.

7:26:
This guy doing the Glamastrator: what color is his hair, exactly? Grey? White? Lavender?

7:24:
Hey, it's Sarah Paulson! Now I can mention Studio 60!

7:22:
Waaaay too much make-up on Julia Louis-Dreyfus.

7:21:
Jeremy Piven should either grow a whole beard or shave. Right now he looks like Homer Simpson when he doesn't shave.

7:18:
"I'm from Utah, we have Nordstrom's:" David Boreanaz's wife Jaime, forgetting who made her dress.

7:17:
Glenn Close always looks very...Glenn Close-ish, doesn't she?

7:11:
I'd much rather see Lisa Edelstein and Teri Hatcher interview each other rather than whats-her-name. Maybe then we wouldn't get questions like "What's your favorite body part?" (yes, actual question)

7:09:
I love when they ask celebs how they keep in shape. Just once I want someone to answer it by saying "Well, when millions of dollars hinges on the fact that you stay in shape it's quite a motivator."

7:07:
Kevin Dillon is the only Entourage guy wearing a tux. All the other guys are dressed exactly the same.

6:59:
Jennifer Love Hewitt says the set of Ghost Whisperer is haunted. Of course it is.

6:53:
Tina Fey thanks Seacrest for not mentioning Sarah Palin...and now they're talking about Sarah Palin.

6:52:
TV question I don't care about at all and I wish they'd stop talking about: Will Britney come back to HIMYM?

6:50:
OMG! McSteamy is at the McEmmys!

6:48:
"The last thing anyone wants to hear is me and Jon [Stewart] talk about politics." Ha!

6:47:
Wow, Stephen Colbert with his wife and daughter. That's great.

6:45:
Are Seacrest and Steve Carell actually talking about enlarged balls?

6:34:
E! also has a GlamCam? That's one "Glam" technology too many.

6:26:
Uh-oh: both Mariska Hargitay and Teri Hatcher are wearing bright yellow dresses. I'm sensing a catfight. Actually, hoping for a catfight.

6:23:
That's Jenna Fischer? She's too pretty to wear all that makeup.

6:20:
Long version of Fey/Scorcese American Express commercial. Longer isn't better.

6:19:
I'm not sure, but I suspect some of the actresses tonight have had plastic surgery.

6:16:
Hmmm, Kristen says that NBC isn't doing the Office spinoff this year after all, they're going to put more $$$ into The Office instead.

6:14:
Awww, Rainn Wilson brought his dad. It's almost as if he's acting like Dwight Schrute Goes To The Emmys.

6:09:
E! is calling Travis Barker a "reality star and Blink 182 drummer." Yeah, I'm sure he'll appreciate that order.

6:07:
First stupid question of the night - "What's the weirdest procedure you've ever done on Grey's Anatomy?" - Seacrest, to Sandra Oh

6:05:
E! has something called the Glamastrator, which is basically a Telestrator for gays.

6:02:
Heidi Klum is 9 feet tall.

6:01:
Ryan Seacrest is hosting E!'s red carpet coverage. What a shock.

6:00pm:
Hey everyone. Let's grab a drink and some snacks and get this Emmy live blog started. I'll be keeping track of the winners and the losers in all of the major categories, talk about the coverage on E! (red carpet from 6 to 8) and then the Emmys themselves (ABC, starting at 8). Head on over to AOL's Emmy coverage throughout the night for results, interviews, and behind the scenes goodies.

And I apologize for any typos thoughout the night. I'll go back and fix them as I go. Leave a comment below if you want to join in on the conversation.
