8:10: Yeah, that has to be up there on the list of worst Emmy openings ever. Snow White at the Oscars bad.

8:08: "Probst has never hosted a show that has indoor plumbing." Actually, he hosted Celebrity Jeopardy years ago, which was done in a studio that I'm going to assume had restrooms.

8:07: The five hosts keep saying "it's not a bit" that they don't have anything planned or on the teleprompter. But isn't that a bit itself?

6:01: Ryan Seacrest is hosting E!'s red carpet coverage. What a shock.

6:00pm: Hey everyone. Let's grab a drink and some snacks and get this Emmy live blog started. I'll be keeping track of the winners and the losers in all of the major categories, talk about the coverage on E! (red carpet from 6 to 8) and then the Emmys themselves (ABC, starting at 8).
