Our Monday morning roundup of a half dozen things TV Squad readers - and TV fans in general - will be talking about this week. 1. Fringe series premiere. It's from the guys behind Lost and the pilot cost $10 million. I think a few people are going to be talking about it. (Tuesday at 8 on FOX.)
2. Sarah Connor Chronicles season premiere. "Everyone thinks I'm here to terminate John Connor. I just want to watch his DirecTV..." (Tonight at 8 on FOX.)
3. Saturday Night Live season premiere. Who's going to play Sarah Palin? (Saturday at 11:30 on NBC.)
4. The Bonnie Hunt Show series premiere. Will her talk show truly be different? Can it succeed in the crowded talk show landscape? Is it here for the long-term like The Merv Griffin Show or will it be gone as quick as The Martin Short Show? (Starts today - check local listings.)
5. Psych summer finale. Sometimes it gives you a headache trying to figure out when these seasons start and end and when they start up again. (Friday at 10 on USA.)
6. Privileged. I'm beginning to overdose on the pretty/rich people TV show genre. (Tuesday at 9 on The CW.)

Saw the 1st ep. of Bonnie Hunt.... the Robin Williams interview is gonna send the PTC into "get ready to protest" mode if this show airs in the "family friendly" afternoon hours.

I'm pretty excited about Fringe but I am put off by the fact that it's on FOX.

If SNL doesn't bring Tina Fey in to play Palin, then there's no point whatsoever in watching anything from Lorne Michaels ever again.

While so many have focused on the possibility that Bristol Palin is Trig Palin's true mother, few have yet discovered that Fey and Palin are, in fact, twins. Birth dates and places have been methodically altered, but the truth is that Sarah and Tina were born to their unwed mother sometime between 1964 and 1970. Unfortunately, she was too poor to raise both girls properly, but one day, a misplaced moose hunter and his family from Alaska happened along and offered her a goodly some of cash and a fur coat in exchange for one of the twins. That twin was Sarah Palin.
If you read Sarah Palin's Wikipedia page, you will see that her family moved to Alaska when Sarah was "an infant" and that she enjoyed "hunting moose" with "her father" as a child. Clearly this proves, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that Palin and Fey are long lost twins.
p.s. - All kidding aside, you're right -- if they don't get Fey to play Palin, they will have missed the opportunity of a lifetime. Tina could command whatever fee she wanted and if they were smart, they'd pay it. It will be interesting to see if they weave the resemblance into the 30 Rock storyline as well.
