I just came to the realization that almost everything I was going to start this latest Big Brother 10 live feeds with is a spoiler. Yikes! A lot has happened since the live show. Alas, today is a bit more as depicted in this image of Memphis. Yes, it's time for the doldrums. The luxury comp is over, nominations are over, and the Power of Veto comp is done. It's time to watch Jerry nap.But I do have show spoilers on the other side of the jump!
A quick run-through of the events so far --
- Dan won the luxury comp which was hosted by Jessie in a gorilla suit.
- He's not allowed to say much about it. Supposedly he's going to the beach for a day via private helicopter.
- He said he had the choice to take someone with him, but chose not to as he didn't want to create animosity in the house. Internet speculation has it that he might be taking a jury member (Michelle), but there's no concrete evidence ... just a few mumbles about trying to get Michelle's jury vote.
- Dan nominated Memphis and Jerry for eviction.
- Memphis won the Power of Veto.
That brings us pretty much up to date on the big events. As for the eviction, they don't know that it will be live on Tuesday this week. Dan and Memphis have constantly been discussing the pros and cons of Keesha and Jerry. It seems to me that Memphis, the one Renny warned Keesha so much about trusting, may be the one with the softer heart for Keesha. He told Dan that he wants to let her know ahead of time if they're going to vote her out. Then, last night he told Keesha that he was going to vote to keep her when she directly asked him about it. So, he just might.
Today Dan is off on his trip, so the house is just Jerry, Keesha, and Memphis. Yes, we're talking a huge snoozefest! No one has any idea where Dan was going other than "to a beach." He was told to wear his bathing suit and bring one change of clothes. At least that's what he told Memphis before they cut the feeds because he wasn't supposed to talk about it. When he returns, I'll be watching for snippets of information and will report back.
In house crumbs:
- Keesha drank too much wine last night and is feeling the effects of it today.
- Dan and Memphis flirted with drunken Keesha last night, but I don't see it as anything either of their girlfriends should worry about on any sort of serious level.
- Jerry has become the cook of the house. He ain't no Renny and I know he doesn't wash his hands after using the bathroom.
- BB never gave them back the grill after taking it away on Friday for the luxury comp.
- Jerry grumbled about BB wanting them to make a show of saying goodbye to Dan.
- Before Dan left, the BB voice was reprimanding him for things he wasn't doing. They repeatedly told him "Stop that, Dan!" as he did his hair. They told him to stop whistling when he wasn't whistling at all.
That's it. Until Dan comes back, I don't foresee much excitement in the house. And then, I'm sure if he starts to talk about the trip, they'll block the feeds and admonish him.

The house has become self aware.

It is so ridiculous how fixed this show is. All you have to do is watch Dan's actions. He knows everything, the dude is not smart he is just given the information. Whenever something is about to happen Dan gets called to the diary room and I am sure that is where they go over everything with him first. I am so disappointed at BB this round. I think they lost one fan (me) this season.

Wow - I didn't know that they let jury house members have access to the internet.
Glad to see you're a reader here, Michelle!

Hey Lisa, weren't you claiming on Aug 26th that BB was fixed and that you were done watching it then? Now you're saying again that they lost you as a fan tonight. Are you sure? Or are you really Michelle like Chris J says? You do sound an awful lot alike. How was the beach with Dan yesterday? Are you still going to vote against him? Are you sick of Ollie and April yet? Are they giving you enough alcohol in the Jury House? What is your JFK theory? 9/11? D.B. Sweeney and Jimmy Hoffa? Was Dan behind all of those too?

Grow up, I am simply stating an opinion like everyone else, if you do not like what i say ignore it. Do you really have to be so immature. I have read all your comments and never made fun of or insulted you people. Just because someone does not agree the way you do you have to insult them.

Often when we like or dislike a particular houseguest, it skews our perception of what we see on the show. I've learned in my many years of watching and writing about reality television that it ultimately doesn't affect me at all who wins or loses. It's not like the winner is going to share the money with me or I have to personally console the loser. I'm not going to get all caught up in defending folks on a reality show or claiming a show is rigged because I'm not happy with the folks who might win. As long as I'm entertained, I don't have to wake up next to the tools who go on these shows.
Er, wait ... I do have to deal with the feeds.
Nonetheless, I have favorites and ones I might love to hate each season for my own personal reasons and according to my personal tastes. But in the end, the winners and losers on the shows aren't going to have any effect on my life. They're in my life for my amusement, nothing else. Yes, I am the real PuppetMaster!

I could care less who wins I was just stating in my opinion it seems awfully funny that Dan figures everything out and the awkwardness in his expressions. Again I thought I could just state my open opinion like everyone else but I guess I can not. I wish you all well and go about your comments, I guess I am to keep mine to myself.

Lisa - Everyone is welcome to like or dislike any of the houseguests. Heck, you can even like Jerry! I think why you got some heat is because you posted that you weren't going to watch anymore, watched more, claimed it's "fixed" and you weren't going to watch anymore. I personally don't think Dan's the "super" player some folks think he is. I think he's lucky to still be in there. My favorite this season was Renny and she's gone. We can all have a good laugh if Memphis and Dan bring Jerry to the final three and Jerry wins it all. I don't care for Jerry, but that would be a hoot because the two "Renegades" have gotten so cocky.

Fixed? I don't think so. I work puzzles like that one on the power of veto every week in our local fishrap. Personally , I believe there needs to be an added element to picking a winner. Last BB, I thought Rye bread played the best game. This year, if he makes it, I believe it would be Dan. However, unless Dan can invite 5 or 6 of the jury, he can't win this game! Like Brian said, this game belongs to Memphis! Maybe the fans "vote" for the winner, (if we could) , could account for 3 or 4 votes. Go Renegades!

Thanks Jackie but as a human usually does in life I thought to change my mind and would try to give it another shot at watching and that is why I came back with another comment. With the same results, and to be joked about, especially the 9/11 comment when my fiance died there that day I just think its not worth it.
I wish everyone well.
