Big Brother 10: Live feeds report - September 1

Dan gets some sun at the BB10 houseLabor Day began like any other day in the Big Brother 10 house. But it might not end like any other. Today is the day that the veto will be used or not. Will Keesha and Dan remain on the block? Will there be brouhahas?

Oh, wait. If you're just watching the show, you don't even know who won the Power of Veto yet. That's old news for those who watch the live feeds. If you want the latest news from inside the house, read on past the jump. Show spoilers ahead!

In the early hours of Saturday morning, Memphis won the Power of Veto. He acted like he was aligning with Jerry for a deal to the final two, but his real ally is his Renegades buddy Dan. They all knew that Dan was Jerry's target for eviction this week. Jerry had told Keesha she was merely a pawn. So, by Memphis winning the PoV, it set the stage for drama. Memphis and Dan kept the plan to save Dan with the veto mum until today's veto meeting. Well, with the exception of Memphis letting Keesha know, that is.

Since Memphis is protected by winning the veto, the only one who can be put on the block with Keesha is Renny. That's not what the Renegades had planned, but plans have a way of changing. As the veto meeting neared, the boys have decided that their best chance for the win is to take Jerry into the final three, not Keesha. They're thinking about how Adam and Ryan took along Sheila last season. But there's a big difference that they're overlooking here -- Jerry can and has won some comps. They might luck out in a physical comp, but Jerry isn't the sure bet that Sheila was. Oh, Memphis hasn't told Keesha of that plan!

So, the veto meeting was held today with no surprises. Memphis saved Dan and Renny went on the chopping block. At this point, it's only Dan and Memphis voting. Come Thursday, unless they change their minds, it will be Renny walking out the door. If they decide to go for a tie, they could make Jerry the bad guy casting the tiebreaker. Since they now want Jerry in the final three with them, that should be considered. But they're not thinking that way. They'll be loyal to Keesha until they don't want her in the three.

In house crumbs:

  • Last night they played more with the arts and crafts, making Play-Doh things.
  • Renny thinks Jerry wanted the girls out all along so he could go to the finals with the guys.
  • Keesha knows she should be safe this week but is still worried.
  • Jerry just found out that he can't compete in this week's HOH comp. It's next week they all compete.
  • Renny asked Keesha if she knew Memphis was going to use the veto. Keesha said she had an idea but wasn't sure at all.
  • Memphis thinks Jerry is fuming because he led him into believing he wasn't going to use the veto.
  • Keesha is worried she'll run out of hair color before the end of the season.
  • Keesha also thinks that Jerry doesn't care that Memphis used the veto because he hates them all.
  • Renny said she won't walk around moping.
  • And, no ... they haven't told Renny about Hurricane Gustav. I doubt they will. Unless someone close to the houseguests dies, they generally don't tell them anything at all. I would also guess that the possibility of a hurricane came up in their contract talks pre-season.
