Well, we thought that Thursday night's Big Brother 10 episode was a whirlwind of activity. Since the live double eviction show, there has been another Head of Household competition and nominations as well as a veto comp. It's enough to make a young upstart like Dan collapse and hold his head.I know you want to know. Read on past the jump for extreme show spoilers for both Sunday and Tuesday episodes!
Before I get into the goods, I want to remind folks reading this that they block the feeds for the actual competitions. We get rising and color-changing bubbles, the fish tank, or BB trivia accompanied by the show's theme music. Once in a blue moon they'll actually play out a food comp on the feeds, but I haven't seen that happen this season. So, I can never go into detail on the comps, but since the hamsters chatter, I can report back to you what they've said.
That out of the way, Jerry won the HOH comp held after the show on Thursday night. That comp had something to do with balls and earning points. Jerry nominated Keesha and Dan for eviction. He wants Dan gone. He promised Keesha she'd be safe from leaving this week although he warned her he was going to put her on the block. Meanwhile, Memphis has been getting closer to Jerry and they've made plans for the final two ... or so Jerry thinks. He's actually getting played.
Last night the feeds were blocked for a good portion of the night for the Power of Veto comp. I believe it was most likely the morph one that they tend to do each year, morphing multiple houseguest images and such. Everyone was subdued when the feeds returned after 6:00 AM ET. They went to bed without spilling the beans! Ack. Thankfully, when they woke up well into the afternoon here in my time zone, it was revealed. Memphis won the PoV.
So, here's the current house crumbs:
- Jerry thinks he has a deal with Memphis for the final two and that Memphis will not be using the veto on Monday when the meeting takes place.
- Ah, but Memphis will be using the veto to save Dan from the block and they want to go to the final two.
- Memphis and Dan aren't saying anything about their plans. Memphis will let the others know he's using at the veto meeting itself and not before.
- Once the veto is used, Renny is the only one who can go on the block.
- Dan and Memphis will be the only votes this week. They plan to vote out Renny.
- Sigh. I like Renny!
People are asking if Renny has been told of the hurricane. I doubt it. However, I would think since she went through Katrina and has lived her life in New Orleans, plus she knew she would be in the house through the hurricane season ... I'm sure she and her family have already made plans. If something major happens to her home or family, BB will surely let her know like they did Monica in BB2. If memory serves, they did not tell the houseguests about Katrina when it happened. They did tell them of 9/11 because Monica's cousin died and they offered to let her go home.

Thanks for the update. I haven't really been a big fan of Renny. I know a lot of fans like her, but she's always bugged me a little. I was a little worried about Dan & I think it's hilarious Memphis is going to double cross Jerry. That old jerk deserves whatever he gets. If it gets down to Keesha, Dan & Memphis, I can be happy with whoever wins. I've always liked Keesha and I hope she does well. Wouldn't it be something, though, if Memphis won, after Brian called him the one to watch out for, way back when Brian was evicted! At this point, it looks like he has a pretty good shot. I think Dan's played a better game & gotten himself out of more trouble spots, but I really doubt if the jury will be able to forgive him for his sins if he's up against either Keesha or Memphis.

I want Dan or Memphis to win. Keesha bugs me. Isn't it funny that everyone said at the beginning that they could "get Jerry out anytime" & "Renny isn't really a threat to anyone"? Now they have beat most people that started.

I hope it works out this way because I dislike Renny as well (although not as much as I dislike Jerry).

Dan's best chance of winning the $500,000 is to take Jerry to the final two. I doubt if that will happen because he will probably be the next one gone after Renny.
Instead of both Dan and Memphis voting out Renny, they could split their votes and make Jerry the bad guy in voting out Renny just like last season when Adam and Ryan split their votes and forced Sheila to vote out Natalie. Jerry seems to like Keesha better than Renny.
Maybe after Renny leaves, Keesha could team up with Jerry. But she will probably stick with Dan and Memphis.

A funny note. I've been wondering all season why Dan is ALWAYS YELLING in the diary room. I read on the live updates that Dan was asked by the DR why he yells. Eh. Funny to me...
Good riddance Renny. She's crazy and not in an interesting way. She was so controlling as HOH, i began to dislike her. Hopefully, Jerry will be following after her. The two of them have been quite vile this season and the editing hasn't really shown it. Only Dan and Memphis have been civil (relatetively civil). It would be a pleasant change to have two "nice" people at the end.

If this plays out, Memphis will be the new "Judas" and if Memphis and Dan make it to the final two, it will be Judas vs. Judas. That should make Jerry flip out! Heh heh.
In the end, it will probably come down to whether the jury votes based on emotion or based on game play. I hope it's the latter.

Exactly. I'm thinking Jerry is the type of guy that keeps the most recent grudge on the top and if Memphis saves Dan, it may be one more vote for him if he goes up against Memphis, though I don't see Keesha voting for Dan if he makes it.
Any of the remaining house guests should want Renny gone. She is the only one of them who hasn't really pissed off any of the jury to any degree and would be next to impossible to beat in the final vote.

I think all the people in the jury house dislike Dan and Memphis so much, if they go against Jerry, they may give Jerry sympathy votes for his age and making it so far, he could win. I don't think it would be a shoo in for someone against Jerry.

Thanks so much for keeping us posted Jackie! I am checking several times a day to see what you have told us. I love BB and have watched all of them from the beginning. I have always had favorites in every BB but we are talking about people from all different back grounds and cultures. Throw all these together for a few months and no contact to the outside world then you will see how they react. We all know it is survival here and not a one can be their true self! Environment can change your attitude and behavior in a big hurry. They all were very likable the very first few days even Jerry the house picked him HOH! All of these last 5 deserve to win BB they have played the game very well in their own way! From this day forward it's just whoever can play the game the best to get to the finals and then convince the jury they are the most deserving to win!

Memphis RIGHT NOW is the one sitting pretty since Renny will go home this week. He's the only one (other than Renny) to not overly piss off most of the jury house. Memphis vs. Keesha? He wins. Memphis vs. Dan? He wins. Memphis vs. Jerry? He wins.
The other three have their mortal enemies in the jury house. The only nailbiter of a final two would be Jerry and Dan (or Keesha) and even then I think Dan/Keesha could win it with votes from Libra, Memphis, Renny and Keesha/Dan.

It made me sick when Jerry won HOH. And him saying he is the only one to win HOH twice, drives me nuts. He has only won it once! He was chosen the 1st time. Oh, how I wish they got rid of him earlier. He has to be the biggest liar in the house. He unnerves me. Oh & he's 75 years old, in case you forgot.
I do like Renny. She makes the live feeds so much fun, especially late at night. She's hilarious, crazy yes, but hilarious.
I would rather see Dan, Keesha & Renny as final three. Memphis hasn't been a big competitor, all he has done is cursed every other word & road along. I forgot about Brian warning them about Memphis.
I'll be sad to see Renny go. I would rather Dan get voted out this time.
But if Renny does leave I wonder if she will get news coverage of Gustav in the jury house? That would be my only reason to see her leave, so she could be in contact with her family. I could see her being extremely upset not knowing all of this was going on at home.

Oh, and he's 75 years old in case you forgot mean? Crystal , Jerry is not my favorite player but age has nothing to do with it.

Crystal - The jury house is in sequester with no contact to the outside world - e.g., no news coverage, no calls to family or friends - at least as far as I know. Any outside contact could influence jury votes.
Helen - The way I read it, Crystal was alluding to how Jerry constantly reminds everyone that he's 75 years old.

Thanks deebopalula, You are right...I was being sarcastic about Jerry & him always referring to his age. I think him being 75 & holding his own is such an accomplishment. I know people 25 years younger than him that couldn't do what all his has. I like Jerry when he is kind, but he really can be a mean man. But I was in no way thinking of his age in a negative form. To be honest I would never think of his age, if he didn't keep reminding everyone. Hahaha!
About the Jury house, I thought that they were allowed monitored contact with family?
