The hamsters in the Big Brother 10 house don't know it, but two will be leaving tomorrow night. With two down, there will be five remaining. Gee, I wonder how well they can brouhaha with only five? We're seeing a house divided as we have many past seasons. It's going to be a jury divided, too. One side or the other might tip the scales, but it's always hard to call whether they'll vote for a friend or for the one who actually played the game best. Now that I've wasted some spoiler-free space, read on past the jump for news and show spoilers from the 24/7 live feeds.
Nope, there have been no more fits of anger from Ollie -- the lollipops and lampposts are safe. And, as the old saying goes, the more things change the more they remain the same. Here we are heading into the end game period and those whacko theories continue to grow from the grassy knoll. I've seen conspiracy theories in the house before, but Ollie's group takes the cake.
I can predict a filler segment coming soon. I've decided that Jerry has a secret alliance with the washing machine. Perhaps the machine is giving him tips and inside information from the production staff! For a few weeks now, every time Jerry does the laundry, he leans on the pool table and watches the entire time. He talks about the suds and the cycles, but the others don't seem to have any issues with the machine. I'm sure something is going on. That machine is a plant!
Today was relatively quiet in the house. It's the day of the HOH camera which has been well-received so far this season despite the separation of camps within the house. Sure enough, this week it wasn't as much fun. Jerry, Ollie, and Michelle all decided they didn't want to be in pictures with Dan. Michelle later broke down. Ollie said he would get a plant and stand with it for the camera.
In house crumbs:
- Renny remains popular with both sides. If she makes it to the final two, she would probably take the win. I think she should really worry about being blindsided.
- Michelle kept trying for Renny's vote, but didn't go to her old buddy Memphis.
- Both sides continue to segregate themselves and talk trash about each other.
- Michelle seems to know she's the target this week. The washing machine must have told Jerry he's safe.
- Michelle and Jerry packed. If they do the double eviction like they've done in past seasons, the second eviction will have the bag packed for them by the remaining houseguests.
- Michelle is hoping for alcohol again tonight. The production staff haven't given them any since Ollie's yard rampage.
- Jerry thinks there will be a double eviction next week.

Thanks for the update Jackie! I'm still hoping for Michelle & Ollie to sent home this week. Keesha or Memphis has to win HOH to send him packing..

If Jerry thinks there will be a double eviction next week, then clearly the washing machine has formed an alliance with the dryer and they are intentionally feeding Jerry misinformation. Or..... Wasn't it Jessie who said "If it doesn't come out in the rinse, it will come out in the wash"? Maybe Jesse hasn't left the house at all and is instead hiding behind the washer, deliberately feeding bad tips to Jerry! (Do I sound like Ollie and Michelle yet? LOL!)

They've worked it a few different ways. From what Julie said last week and promos, I expect eviction, hoh, pov, eviction, hoh. They keep saying an entire week in a night.

The new HoH will immediatly nominate 2 house guests. They will then do a PoV comp, then ceremony. Then the remaining house guests will then vote out 1 of the 2 new nominees.

Maybe Jerry is delusional and thinks the washing machine is a tv and he's trying to get all caught up on his soaps.

I just think Jerry's never seen a front-loading washing machine before. Or maybe a washing machine of any sort in actual operation. You know, because he's an old Marine and married since 1954.

Something to ponder: If they evacuate New Orleans (could start on Sunday), do they tell Renny? If they do, does she leave? That would put a twist on the game.

I don't think they'll tell Renny. I don't believe they told Dr. Will and Nicole in season two about 9/11.
Jackie, keep up the great work!! Love reading your blogs!

Were Dr. Will or Nicole from NY?
They did inform the one girl from NY whose cousin died in one of the towers. I would assume she told the rest of the house what happened.

I seem to recall them pulling all three - Nicole, Dr. Will and Monica - into the DR to tell them about 9/11. I think they might have even showed them a video clip about the attack. Not sure they would have done that if Monica's cousin had not been in one of the towers.

9/11 was an event that they could do nothing about. Gustav is still in the future and there are things that can be done to save her business/personal effects/family members. Not telling her could cost her a lot in the real world.

People...this is a game...why don't people remember that....alliances...give me a break...the bottom line is one person wants to win and while they may get into an alliance it is only for as long as it works for them...the bottom line...only one can win and you do what you have to do to win...lie, deceive, whatever...it's a game!!!! the only disgusting thing is when players hook up and are "intimate" when they know they are being filmed. Have some decency...but bottom line...it's a game for money and no one will back down for someone else to win...they are in it for the MONEY.

Listening to Ollie and Michelle discussing the game is at the same time hilarious and nauseating.
