My son turns 5 in a few weeks and is a Transformers fanatic. He has already requested that his birthday party should only consist of transformers things (my sister is making an allspark cake). He can't sleep without MY 20th anniversary Prime watching over his bed (apparently to protect him from overnight Decepticon ambush). He has even stated that when he grows up he and the Autobots will protect the Earth from destruction (his words).

I loved the original Transformers cartoon back in the 80's (I still have my original Jetfire) and now my sons are reaching the age where they could get into it. This would be a great introduction for them :)

I've been a fan of Transformers since 1984, and this is one of the best series they've ever done. Perfect balance of an ongoing story for older fans and great fun episodic adventures for kids who drop in for an episode here and there.
Also, its just good to have the Dinobots back.

My Son actually thinks he is a Transformer. He makes all the sound effects when he gets dressed. He also battles Decepticons when they threaten to find the All Spark (location unknown because I could be a Spybot). We both love to watch the show and it would be awesome to have the DVD.

This show is leaps and bounds better than the other Transformers cartoons on Cartoon Network. Love G1 and Beast Wars and I really need this to add to my collection.
