Rescue Me: Clue

John Scurti
(M8) "The "thing" is the food you would most like to eat after you bang her." - Lou

No joke - I have had this same conversation before with friends. Same premise (person, place, and thing) and we came down to discussing "the Jessicas" too. The Biels. The Albas. The Langes. And yes - The Rabbits. However, the thought of getting crayon on my naughty bits never crossed my mind when I was talking about hopping (no pun intended) in the sack with Roger Rabbit's woman. Then again, I wasn't standing in a burning building while trying to fight off painful shit cramps.

The brilliance of this minisode was so subtle. Just a normal guy's conversation about sex and food while they're at work. "Work" in this case just so happens to be a burning apartment building, which coincidentally, I don't think I could have ever dropped trou in. No matter how much of Lou's vegetable chili I may have enjoyed. Wouldn't the toilet seat have melted to your butt cheeks or something?

More thoughts...

  • Mike's "light a match" comment was priceless. Even better was that despite the predicament they were in, the match was still necessary.
  • Clue is a terrible movie. Also, at one point in time, maybe seven or eight years ago, you could flick on Comedy Central and there was approximately a 99.2% chance that it would be on - regardless of time of day.
  • Legal or not, Dakota Fanning is never going to be one of my fantasies.
  • Great moment at the end when the little girl Tommy handed off to Lou said she had to use the bathroom too and Lou, realizing that he wasn't going to get in there anytime soon, crossed his legs to hold it in. Hilarious.

And speaking of little kids, looks like the guys turn into them next week when an ice cream truck rolls up in front of the 62 house.

Whose fantasy sounded better?
