"Indecision 2008: To Drill or Not to Drill": High gas prices continue to be a huge problem across the country, as citizens have been weeping into their gas tanks just to get something in there. Naturally, drilling is a hot topic in the current presidential race. The media has also been making a big deal out of Obama's suggestion that citizens check their tire pressures, as adjusting to proper numbers does some nice-nice things to gas mileage. Leave the lolz-making to Daily Show, Fox News. Also, I don't believe the remark about Oedipus and President Bush created quite the mental image that they intended. I'm having trouble looking at Barbara Bush now.I know Mrs. McCain is kind of a cougar, but how awkward was it for McCain to volunteer her for that "beauty pageant" at that Bike Week? Research, research, research. I would also like to note that Stephen Colbert did the suggestive banana bit better than that chick from the footage. And yes, I'm just using this as an excuse to share this classic video.
"Back in Black": Lewis Black has something else to promote? Well, all right. He's got a new CD, "Anticipation", coming out, so he stopped by to talk about various dictators being dickish across the world. If you were into this, read more about Radovan Karadžić, Omar al-Bashir, and Robert Mugabe. Two things: I hope Lewis Black never has to say "part-ay" or "[something] got served" ever, ever again. Ever.
The night's guest was Senator Chuck Schumer of New York. Kicking off with a hilariously ironic blurb from Hillary Clinton on the cover of his book Positively American: How the Democrats Can Win in 2008, the conversation quickly became deeply involved in the topic of the upcoming election. Then that turned into a big Obama lovefest. Republican viewers -- all three of them -- were heard jabbing their legs repeatedly with their "Obama's Energy Plan" tire gauges, just to distract themselves. The rest of the discussion was pretty straightforward, with the Senator talking about becoming an Obama supporter after campaigning for Hillary Clinton and the Democrats' plans for super-quick attack ad response.
Jon/Stephen: More tire pressure mockery. Stephen Colbert has a better idea, involving driving right on his rims, sans tires. Moment of Zen: McCain is flustered about paying four bucks a gallon for gasoline.

Wow, why do you even recap this show. Isn't it enough that the show does nothing put blindly follow MSM talking points and promote a liberal agenda. What makes you feel that your lame recap is needed, what do you just want the opportunity to ignorantly dig in to republicans and conservatives? Just asking?

You make a good point! Every time I read these recaps, I think there's actually nothing of value added by this lame TV Squad writer called "Annie Wu". I mean wouldn't it be great if she'd add video to her posts, so much as if you could watch the whole episode after clicking start on all of them? Wow that would be great. Or added information about the stuff that happened during the show, something like a DVD commentary, you know, with insight into what those people said, background information, something you could link to on the interwebs to get more out of the episode itself and get an informed opinion on the political backgrounds of this so-called "comedy" show that's so totally full of politics they just can't fool US informed right wing fair and balanced Fox News informed readers.
I say enough with these reviews! Just stop it! If I were in need of additional information, I would go on the interweb and visit some kind of Blog about TV shows and read about those shows there. Which I'm not. Sort of.
Oh and I'm not gay. I hate gay people and cherish family values. That foot tapping is just a nervous tick.
By the way my name is an alias. I fear excommunication should I post under my real name (

You're close DavidM. Annie Wu is part of a mainstream media conspiracy, but the conspiracy is not to promote the liberal agenda. The conspiracy involves destroying DavidM and everything he stands for, such as whininess and douchebaggery.

Silly David, ignorance and ranting are two tenets of liberalism! Just look at the level of reporting in general at tvsquad and you can't help but see this site's nothing but ignorant liberal ranting, and that's just the bloggers! The true ignorance comes from their sycophants commenting here. Just look at Thom, Peanut, and most especially Bash. Bash is the poster child for all things ignorant, loud and liberal. I'm sure he'll be made the tvsquad mascot before long.

In case you have forgotten, this blog site is about TV and TV shows. The Daily Show happens to be a TV show. I know that logic is hard to understand for you.
I would love to see you read your post out loud on a webcam. It would be a true moment of Zen.

"Missing The Point"
A staple of the liberal mind for generations. Thank you for continuing that ridiculous stereotype, both you and Annie Wu.
